Recap: "Denki, you have to believe him. I would never betray you! This is all platonic."

"I believe you, gorgeous. I question Midoriya's intententions," he glared at Izuku.

I notice Izuku trembling like a chihuahua.

"Denki, Izuku has some anxiety issues and you aren't helping. Can you please leave us to our meal? I'll hang out with you right after, I promise."

His face softened a bit, "Fine darling, but don't think I won't be watching you guys."

With that, he left.

"I thought Kaminari was supposed to be nice. I don't have a good feeling about him."

"He's fine. Sero basically said he can't casually like or do things."

"I don't know. Don't hesitate to call if you're in trouble though."

That's the second time someone has said that. It's kind of irritating. I know they're looking out for me, but Denki would never hurt me. Would he?

We spent the next hour catching up. Of course, I brought up Uraraka to set off the blushing again. Never gets old.

I gave Izuku a hug and a peck on the cheek when we finished. I knew Denki was probably still watching, but that'll show him for making an ass out of himself.

I walked over to his booth to discover he wasn't eating alone. His mom was there. She didn't seem mad I was eating lunch with another guy. At least she seems to have her head on straight. She asked me if I had fun with my friend.

"Yeah. I had fun teasing him about his girlfriend. It's fun making him blush!"

She laughed, " I really like you. I think you're perfect for my son. I wasn't a fan of that sad sack he used to hang around with. You're more full of life."

I think I'm falling in love with his mom too. She's been nothing but upbeat and kind. I wish my mom was a bit more like her.

"Well I suppose you two kids want to be left alone to do your thing!"

I wonder if that woman has ever felt sadness in her life.

She stopped me and whispered, "I was thinking of the other night. For fun, don't give Denki any for a month."

"You know he's a virgin right?"

"YOU BOTH KNOW I'M RIGHT HERE, CORRECT?"

"Yeah I know, (Y/N), still make him grovel for it."

She was cackling as Denki dragged me away angrily.

He continued to drag me to a nearby park and threw me down on a bench.

"Ouch. Hard bench!"

His face quickly softened, "I'm sorry babe! I don't ever want to hurt you."

Then what the fuck did you just do?

He continued, "It made me so mad to see you with him. You're mine and I shouldn't have to share you with other guys."

He was going to say more, but I kissed him to shut him up. He was talking crazy.

"Izuku called me and just wanted to catch up. That's all. He knows I only have eyes for you."

"You can't trust the others that much, (Y/N). They want to keep you away from me."

"If that's the case, maybe I should talk to my friends."

That seemed to satisfy him. I wonder if he has abandonment issues. I don't know anyone that talks or act like that. I feel horrible for him, so I should try harder to be a better girlfriend.
