Alexis's POV

After the whole fiasco with the manager, we started talking again. Conversations about random things that mean nothing, but at the same time mean everything to us.We would make a topic like, 'which is better, cake or pie' and talk about that for half an hour.

We did that for so long, that I lost track of time. Jin was in the middle of telling me how Jimin slipped while performing Save Me on the table in their apartment for a dare, when my phone pinged for a message.

As I was laughing, I checked my phone. It was from my mom. "When are you coming home, I made breakfast. Just kidding, Ihop did. Your legs are going to look amazing if your jog is this long.

Wait, breakfast? I check the time. It says five thirty in the morning, but it is still set for Eastern standard time. That means it's six thirty at night here. I look out the window to see that it is dark outside. How did I miss day turning to night?

This is bad, really bad. I need to get a hotel. I need to get necessities, and figure out what to do. Telling mom, holy shit, that's going to be a nightmare. I stand up, ready to go.

"What's wrong? Who was that?" Jungkook asks.

I make something up on the spot, "I have to go to... dinner. I'm late."

"Didn't you teleport from America?" Hoseok asks. Stop remembering things, I'm trying to save you trouble.

"I texted my Korean friend. She's letting me stay at her place for now." I mentally high five myself. I didn't use my phone after showing the manager my text, but hopefully no one noticed.

"You didn't have to do that, you can stay with us. The dorm is big enough." Hoseok offers. This is what I was trying to avoid.

It's not like I don't want to stay with them, but.... ok, that's exactly what it is. I don't want to live off of them or make them feel obligated to help me.

"It's fine, I haven't talked to her in a long time, so I want to catch up. I won't tell her about this though, don't worry." I refer to our bond.

They look disappointed, which makes me feel bad about saying no. "I'm sorry I have to leave." I say regretfully.

"I understand, but you have to come over tomorrow, okay?" Jimin says.

I smile, "Sure, I'll come here tomorrow at noon, is that okay?"

They nod enthusiastically. Yoongi doesn't nod, but I can tell on his face easily that he is excited. "See you tomorrow, then." I wave at them.

"I'll ask the manager to drive you." Namjoon stands up. The other members start to get up, "Just me."

I giggle. Before we leave, I let out my thoughts, "Um..." I turn around, to see them all watching me leave. When they realize I'm about to say something, they pay close attention. I get a little nervous, but I don't back down.

"I know I'm tied to you for life, but I hope you can put up with me. I have a lot of flaws and I can't do a lot of things, but I hope you can still like me. For me... I'm really happy that I found my soulmates." I say shyly. I won't run away this time. I learned the first time how horrible it was to stay away. My mom told me to give them a chance, and now that I know that they don't despise me, I'm willing to take it. Hopefully they won't regret it.
