Arlo POV
"What are YOU doing here?" Asked John irritated
So Seraphina is both here as well... And I'm not even surprised that John's acting like this.
"I heard that Remi's injured... is she here?" I asked hoping that it wasn't because of John
"She's in Blyke's room" John said
Huh? Why did John answered me straightforwardly? Something's not right...
I entered Blyke's room just to see Remi laying on the bed with blood running down from her head
"Remi! What happened to you?!"
"Huh?! Arlo? What are you doing here??" Asked Remi surprised
"I did it..." Said John emotionlessly
"John you little fu-" I got up and went straight to John because I knew he won't be able to do anything without an ability, but got interrupted by Remi
"STOP! It wasn't John...."
John POV
Remi what are you doing? Are you gonna tell the whole world that you're a superhero or something? You'll get us into even MORE trouble stupid!
"John... It's okay. Arlo already knows that I'm trying to avenge my brother by going after EMBER and already tried to stop me before" Remi explained
"So you're STILL trying to go after EMBER after everything that has happened?" Said Arlo looking mad "Remi... I hate to see you being hurt this badly... I get it, you lost your brother... But you don't have to risk your life as well. I'm going to lose BOTH of you at this rate. You could've just asked me to come with you at least..."
"Wait.... You'll really help me??"
"Your barrier won't do shit... The enemy can teleport in and out of your barrier whenever she pleases. And don't act like you care about the low-tiers. You just wanted to protect Remi" I said irritated
"Wait a second.... How do YOU know what the enemy's capable of, John?" Arlo asked confused
Shit... Didn't really thought this one through... Why didn't I just mind my own business?
"I... I explained it to John b-before you came here" Said Remi stuttering
Really Remi? THAT was your attempt at lying? If I'm being completely honest... That just gave it away even MORE
"Don't tell me that you ACTUALLY helped Remi chase EMBER? I don't get you at all! One minute you tried to beat Remi up, then literally on the SAME week you help Remi? You should be stopping her... Not encourage her to go out there!" Arlo yelled
"I DID... But she wouldn't listen anyway"
