8 years later

"Jagi, stop trying to peek!"

You giggled, arms stretched out in front of you as you tried to feel past the blindfold delicately tied across your eyes.

After all these years spent in secrecy, you didn't have to hide anymore

Finally you were able to start your lives together without having to hide away from the cameras.

Just like how he had promised that day in the aquarium, Taehyung never let you down.

He would take you to the ocean whenever he wasn't on tour, and whenever he was, you spent your time back in Jeju with Soon-ja, learning from her and honing in on your powers.

As it turns out, you're pretty damn powerful!

You almost caused a tidal wave during one of her impromptu training sessions, which in turn caused you to get hit with a rolled up newspaper.

A couple years of practice and you even mastered the art of communicating with dolphins too!

Almost, anyway.

Calling them to you was easy enough, but from there it was a little harder to say the least.

Its like swimming around with a over-excited puppy, playful and always somehow in your way!

On a more serious note, you had to admit that the journey up until now hadn't been easy.

When the time for Taehyung to enlist started to approach you couldn't help but feel a sense of dread.

Despite his fans begging him to take the exemption that was offered to him and his band-mates by the government of Korea, he just couldn't do it.

Not surprising you in the least, Taehyung and his brothers felt it was their duty to their country to fulfill their mandatory two-year enlistments.

In fact, he almost seemed excited about it, him and the boys would joke around about what positions they would take if they were somehow recruited for a special forces team.

Like some kind of crackhead version of Charlies Angels.

Joking aside, you couldn't help but be incredibly proud of him.

Proud of all of them.

Throughout your relationship with the famous idol you had met many others in his world, others outside the bubble that was BTS.

One evening, whilst you were at a private party with the boys, you had met someone particularly interesting.

Min Hyo-rin, actress model and singer.

More recently famous for being Taeyang from BigBang's wife.

Surprisingly, the two of you had hit it off and decided to go for coffee the next day.

You had confided in her about your worries with the enlistment and she was more than willing to open up to you.

She, too, had dealt with her significant other leaving for the military.

In fact, the two of them had actually decided to marry before he left, knowing all too well that it would help them be able to see each other throughout his long training.

You listened intently as you sipped on your cappuccino.
