Chapter 41 - Old Zhou Suffer a Surprised Attack

During the period of time that ZhouLingYun was in the meetings, his training duties were briefly delegated to others. The main emphasis in these meetings were to improve weapon requirement performances. So when he returned, he temporarily shifted his focus on research projects. Since BaiLuoYin is recuperating, ZhouLingYun became his replacement in working with the cooperating companies to inspect the progress of projects.

Today, ZhouLingYun came to HaiYin Technology Company.

GuHai came out to warmly welcome this guest. He very politely greeted him with a few words, "Brigadier General Zhou, why didn't you inform us in advance that you were coming? I would've sent a car to pick you up."

ZhouLingYun readily laughed, "How can I dare to have General Gu's eldest son send a car for me!"

The two people were talking and laughing walking toward the company's entrance as though they have been good friends for many years. GuHai hid his burning rage deeply within and acted like a charming and agreeable businessman. His speech and manner showed great respect for ZhouLingYun.

The two people had tea and chatted in the VIP room. ZhouLingYun would look at GuHai from time to time. His eyes twinkled like he had found a treasure. GuHai smiled, "I am not interested in any matters relating to military affairs."

"Since you are born into a military family, there should be some influences on you. You should have a deep affection for the military," ZhouLingYun said while take a sip of the tea.

"I don't like to be tied down. I can't adapt to the military's management system."

ZhouLingYun continued to convince, "Why don't you join my troop unit. I have a special management style!"

"No need to." GuHai is very polite, "I am really not that kind of material!"

"I have always been very good at spotting potential. You are naturally capable of being "General" material. I'm certain that I'm not wrong! How about this? You think about it!" ZhouLingYun is very eager to enlist good talent.
