It was rare to have a free weekend so GuHai decided to make dumplings.

On the side, BaiLuoYin tried to help him roll the dumpling wrappers. His dumpling wrappers are barely passable, but he was just too slow. He couldn't make them fast enough for GuHai to wrap. Hence, GuHai pushed him to the side so he could just watch the excitement as GuHai busily rolled the wrapper and wrapped it in the stuffing, making the dumplings all by himself.

The dumplings that GuHai wrapped have a large amount of stuffing in a very thin wrapper; each one is rounded like a belly. Just looking at them will make you feel delighted.

BaiLuoYin also wanted to try and make some so he grabbed a dumpling wrapper, scooped a spoonful of stuffing into the center and pinched the sides, just like how GuHai did it. Then, he fixed up the little gaps around the edges. When he was finished, he proudly held it in front of GuHai's eyes.

"How does this look? Not bad right?"

GuHai faintly looked at BaiLuoYin and raised his thin lips in a smile.

"Not bad, very good, take it and play on the side, be obedient!"

BaiLuoYin, "......"

These two together can really eat a family's worth of dumplings. With just GuHai doing all the wrapping, his hands became sore. BaiLuoYin got bored on the side and naturally started to think about all the tribulations in his past and how happy he is now in the present.

"When I was a young, we only ate dumplings on Chinese New Year. Back then, my grandparents were still very healthy. Usually, my grandma would roll the dumpling wrappers and my grandpa1 would wrap it. I would be watching on the side and my dad would be sitting at the table waiting to eat."

1Note: In this conversation, both BaiLuoYin and GuHai are referring to their paternal grandpa, their father's father.

GuHai's hand movements paused. He could not help but sigh, "My grandpa was gone when I was born. In my memory, my grandma never cooked. Back then, the military gave us two kitchens but we had nannies and servants. The foods that I ate when I was a young were always controlled. I can't eat whatever I want."

BaiLuoYin was stunned, "Wait... I remembered when we first met, you told me that your grandpa was paralyzed and had incontinence. How is it now that your grandpa was gone before you were born? How many grandpas do you have?"

GuHai was trying to be ignorant, "Just one! Did I say that my grandpa was paralyzed? You remembered incorrectly, right?"

BaiLuoYin was assertive, "I remembered correctly. That was what you said. When you came to my house to eat, my grandpa spurted food all over the table. I apologized to you on your way home and you told me that your grandpa was like that too."

GuHai's heart slightly thumped, now he remembered. He really did say that. Shit, he still remembered such little things?

BaiLuoYin immediately saw through GuHai's thoughts and his expression turned hateful. "You must have lied to me very often back then?"

"That ahhhh?" GuHai responded mockingly, "Back then, wasn't that just because I wanted to get close to you?"

BaiLuoYin groaned and twisted the dough in his hands.

GuHai suddenly thought of the BaiLuoYin from the past, carrying a ripped backpack, wearing thin school uniforms, his hair looking like chicken coop, and occasionally wearing slippers to class ... the more he thought about it, the more he was amused. He could not help but reached his hand over to grab the little monster between BaiLuoYin's legs.

"Monkey stealing peach2!" Followed with a burst of lewd and evil laughter.

2Note: 猴子偷桃: Monkey stealing peach means distracting an opponent with one hand and seizing his balls with the other; grabbing someone by the balls
