Love will find you, even in the wierdest situations...

David rolled his eyes at what seemed to be the billionth text he had received from Laura.

Why send him out to run errands for her if she was just going to question where he was at every moment.

His thoughts were interrupted by a commotion across the street behind him. He watched with wide eyes as a blur of white and black ran across the back opening of the alley followed by a bunch of men in black.

Probably some shop lifter he thought to himself

He stuffed his phone back in his pocket reaching for his bike helmet.

While David had been busy shopping things were getting crazy a few blocks away.

Echo had just climbed out of a second story window and landed clumsily on her ass. She groaned as she got to her feet.

"Hey!"

She cursed as she broke into a sprint her butt (along with several bodyguards) screaming at her to stop.

She ran through the suburb grateful that it was so close to the city where she could get lost in the crowds of tourists. The men's footsteps hadn't faded in the slightest meaning they were keeping pace with her which was odd.

'They must be new,' she thought to herself. Either way she wasn't going to risk looking back.

Finally making it to the city and having drawn attention from afar because of these bozos constant yelling for her to stop. She felt bad for a second. They were just doing their job no matter how much it inconvenienced her.

She took back the bozo part.

Some good samaritans were standing with their arms out in an attempt to stop her if she got near them or didnt stop. She felt bad but she couldn't get caught so she quickly dipped into an alley pushing hands away that attempted to grab her.

The alley connected to smaller alleys so she'd have to squeeze through one of the smaller ones to slow them down. Every time she passed one she'd look quickly for something that could help her. Finally she saw a grocery store, if she got in there they would have to stop; she knew that for sure. She could hear them getting tired so she decided to take the next alley out and back the way they came.

She was tired but so close to salvation she managed to laugh; that is until she saw back up coming her way. Now she was sandwiched between two groups of furious bodyguards.
She stumbled to a stop hopping from foot to foot trying to come up with a plan when she heard the rev of an engine.

Her head whipped to her right and saw a motorcycle about to pull out of the parking lot into the street. Before she could even decide wether it would work or not she was already sprinting towards this unknown, unsuspecting, and hopefully understanding guy.

Within seconds she leapt onto the back of his bike almost causing him to tip over. Luckily he had great reflexes.

"What the F-," he attempted to spit out but was drowned out by Echo yelling.

"JUST DRIVE."

Usually in situations like this he would have to be asked twice but considering the fact that after following the direction of her head and seeing a bunch of jacked men just a few feet away coming straight at them he decided to hit the gas first and ask questions later.

He took off so abruptly Echo almost flew off but she managed to squeeze her arms around him in time.

She turned her head holding on to him with one hand and flipping the guys the bird with the other laughing as the distance between them grew larger. Earlier she had felt bad about calling them bozos but she couldn't resist a little middle finger action.
