"The agency has its own boarding facilities so you four will be living alongside the sidekicks for the week. You will be sharing this room. We leave for patrol early in the morning so be ready or you'll be left behind."

Bakugou shoves open the door to reveal a rather plain room with four cots. He makes a beeline for the one pushed against the farthest wall and tosses his bag down before whirling around to point at me.

"That one is yours." He gestures to the bed next to his. "I'm not gonna sleep next to those dumbasses."

"Uh- okay."

The week passes quickly and soon it's Saturday morning. I follow Midoriya out to the main area, yawning. The sidekick, Burnin', appears out of nowhere, greeting us with a bright grin.

"Good morning!"

Bakugou trudges up next to me, grumbling. "It's too damn early!"

"Well, have ya beat a baddie faster than Endeavor yet?" She laughs, continuing. "Aah! My bad, my bad! I shouldn't be so insensitive! There's no way y'all are havin' an easy time, is there?!"

Todoroki speaks up as he enters the room behind us, stretching. "We got pretty close yesterday. Let's work on recreating the same feeling from yesterday. Good morning, Burnin'."

Bakugou tugs his mask over his eyes with a growl. "I was the one who got close, you idiot! You're still crazy slow! That's why I come out on top!"

"I'm not used to concentrating my fire at a focal point yet."

"I feel like we are making progress, little by little!"

I tug on my Recall Lenses, murmuring an agreement to Midoriya's optimistic response. I've gotten a lot more aware of my surroundings and Endeavor does pretty well at explaining how he notices changes in the environment.

"I guess I don't hafta do anything to get you boys pumped up!" Burnin' replies.

Soon we're out and about, chasing after Endeavor as we have been, taking down villains and saving people. I'm slowly but surely picking up on more details about what's going on around us. Certain sounds, facial expressions, even abnormal traffic can indicate something's not right.

"FOCUS! KEEP AT IT UNTIL YOU CAN DO THIS STUFF IN YOUR SLEEP! BY THE TIME YOU DECIDE TO ACT, YOUR BODY SHOULD ALREADY BE FINISHED WITH YOUR MOVE!"

Endeavor rushes forward, snatching a brief case from a villain and returns it to the owner in seconds. I'm at his side half a second after. Before we continue on, he glances over to me. "Meraki. What tipped me off?"

"Uh- before we got down the street, you could see the foot traffic had stopped. People were watching something and moving out of the way."

"Keep that in mind. Always observe and analyze the world around you and act as it presents itself, even before, if you can."

Bakugou's frustrated voice rings out as he catches up to us. "You'd think he'd get sick of showing off by now!"

Midoriya isn't far behind. "Every time we get close, he blasts off again!"

The second they reach us, Endeavor takes off down the street again with a barked command. "LET'S GO!"

Hours later, I'm surprised to see us pull up to a rather nice looking house instead of the school. I follow the others out of the car and glance around.

"WHY?!"

At Bakugou's question, Todoroki glances over his shoulder. "My sister told us to come for dinner."
