Ashish

As we strolled on the streets of Zermatt, holding hands, enjoying the snow, I felt eternally grateful for everything. It was surreal; the moment; the environment; the snow and her, everything felt just like a dream to me. If I could just pause the moment and stay in it forever, I would do it in a wink.

Akshita has me completely hooked, she is the best thing that ever happened in my life. Life feels complete with her. Her unconditional and unadulterated love gives meaning to everything in life.

I was zoning out when I felt something hit me on the back. I followed the direction and this time, a big ball of snow hit my face.

"Jeez, Akshita! I declare war!!!" I said smirking and threw the snowballs at her just like she did. We both played in the snow like children. I was being childish for her sake so that she could thoroughly enjoy her first snow.

She giggled as we both threw snowballs at each other and fell on the snow laughing. I picked up the snow and threw it in her jacket while she giggled madly.

I stood up then and clicked the picture of her sprawled on the snow, laughing and giggling

"Ah! What a beautiful sight!" I muttered sighing.

"You look absolutely adorable right now. This is going to be my phone background." She giggled in response and extended her hand to me. I smiled and bent down to give her a piggyback ride.

"Really?" She asked excitedly jumping up. I just nodded and she jumped on my back. I started walking towards the market area with her on my back. She started talking to me animatedly which made me so happy. To see this joy on her face, I could do anything.
