Calypso is a young man, an adult for his century. His wooden limbs had grown with him and he was now strong and agile but Calypso was hidden from the world because of his limbs. He wasn't alone in the hiding since his adoptive father Candid was hiding too. Candid was a puppet, a possessed one.
Other than that Calypso was a normal person, he had hobbies and loved the sea. It always fascinated him and he had a secret hiding spot in an abandoned lighthouse, well not that hidden since his parents knew that place and had repaired it so it won't collapsed.

Today was a beautiful day, birds were singing and calypso was playing in the sand. He picked up some shells from here and there, he used them to make mermaid puppets.
As the skeleton was playing, he heard a noise. That noise wasn't the noise of an animal but a gasp from someone. Calypso quickly turned around in fear and between the trees was a beaten up pirate. In fear calypso ran to the light house as fast as he could. The villager wasn't supposed to find him, if they would they will burn his family house and chase them down.
When he got on top of the lighthouse calypso stopped and listened. He didn't hear anything anymore, he probably has lost the pirate.
Calypso tried to calm down and then realised... the person didn't seem dangerous and had called for help when he was runing.
Calypso wondered for awhile until a knock was heard on the front door of the light house.
It was Elian his adoptive mother.
"Heya sweetie, I got you lunch! Why not have a family picnic?" The puppet maker asked sweetly.
"Sure" calypso replied hesitently.
Behind Elian appeared candid with an angry face.
"You were seen" the puppet said in a cold voice.
"What? Calypso!" Elian looked angry too now.
"I'm sorry but... I don't think it was a villager." Calypso replied.
"It was a pirate" added candid.
"That's even worse!" Yelled Elian.
"Don't worry I'm taking care of that" said candid while leaving.
"... still picnic?" The young man asked his mother. A smile plastered across the puppet maker face.
"Still picnic" He teplied.
