Previously on Step Brothers..

"We were so, so happy. Almost like a real family..." he trails off.

My eyes get wide as I try to process what he just said

What dose he mean like a real family?

He quickly wipes his eyes and jumps up.

"Well, you're all better now , we should probably go to our classes," he says while looking away.

He probably doesn't want me to see his puffy eyes.

He gently grabs my hand and pushes open the door.

I get a little bashful by the sweet gesture but didn't really let it bother me.

His hands were warm and slightly rough, but in a comforting way.

We walked together in silence, the previous conversation kind of put us out of a talking mood.

We held hands the whole time until we had to part ways.

He had science and I had English.

I hate English.

The words are just so weird and it's hard to pronounce.

He told me that the english room was on the second floor so that's where I was going.

I push opens the doors that lead to the stairs and instantly freeze.

There was a long staircase that spiraled upwards as it led to the next area.

I groan in frustration and pull my water bottle out of the my bag just incase.

You can never be too careful.

That way if I start falling down the verge of death  I can at least regain some energy.

Each step I took sent an aching pain through my legs.

My legs were slightly sore from running so climbing up the staircase to hell wasn't exactly helping.

The whole walk really took about two minutes but it felt like I was walking for fifty years.

When I finally make it out there's a door a couple feet ahead that says English on it.

I sigh and slowly drag my feet there.

I was so devastated about going that I didn't notice an excited Jeongin racing towards me.

He jumps on my back and wraps his arms around my shoulders before sliding them down to my arms so he could hug me from behind.

I stumble and quickly regain my footing while turning around to see him smiling brightly at me.

" hey (Y/N)!," he greets cheerfully.

Not gonna lie, I was slightly uncomfortable with him hugging me like  this since I just met him , but I suck it up to make a good impression.
