(Y/N)'s POV
I picked a dozen assorted flowers and walked to the cashier, smiling and sighing happily thinking about my girlfriend. It was my girlfriend, Tsuyu Asui, birthday today. I had decided to buy her some flowers and her favorite sweets. She has been with her family in the morning, so I had a chance to go to our shared home and decorate a little. The cashier wrapped my selected flowers nicely and added a bow to them. I paid for them and received my change. "Thank you, please come again!" I smiled at the cashier and gave her a small nod.
I then walked to Tsu's favorite bakery to pick up her birthday cake and some extra sweets. Once I did so the cashier there placed them in a, quite fashionable, paper bag. I once again started walking down the street towards our home.
When I first met Tsuyu it was during our Hero Provisional License exam. I was against her and her classmates, but after it was announced who had obtained a hero license she approached me and asked me to be friends. A friendship later turned into a relationship and well, five years later we live together and we're both pro-heroes.
Life couldn't be better, truly, and I wished it had stayed like that. Stayed perfect, but it didn't. I had arrived at our apartment complex to see it up in flames. I dropped the presents I had gotten my girlfriend and took off my coat. Underneath was my hero costume.
I grabbed my mask out from my pocket and put it on. What had caused this? I shook my head. People's lives are in danger, I have to hurry. I aimed my hands toward the ground and projected myself up into the air.
"All civilians please leave the premises!" I wasn't an exceptional rescue hero, but I still had to try the best I could. I landed on top of a nearby pillar and looked around the area. The number one hero had joined my side along with a companion of his. "Deku! Red Riot! Rescue the civilians under the rubble! I'll put the fire out!"
"Great seeing you (H/N)!" "We're on it!" They got to do what I had instructed and I moved my arms towards the fire. Foam shot from the palm of my hands and expanded, consuming the flames. Once I had managed to somewhat control the flames the news vans were arriving and so were other minor heroes. They got straight to helping Deku and Red Riot with rescuing civilians. I jumped through a window into the building. Trying to find the heart of the fire before it once again erupted.
As I was running towards the smoke I saw a figure running through the hallways. Were they the culprit or were they innocent civilians that hadn't been rescued yet? I left a trail of foam behind me in an attempt to subdue any flames that I might have missed. I started running towards the individual, they might really need help.
"Identify yourself! I'm here to help you, I'm the hero (H/N). Please halt!" I kept running after them, they seemed to have picked up their pace. No scared civilian would do so, they had to be a villain or the one responsible. I extended my arms in their direction and trapped them in foam. "State your name." I approached them but stopped. They looked familiar, I knew who they were. I couldn't speak and in my state of shock, they escaped my foam trap. They had jumped back and landed gracefully.
"I'm the villain Froppy."
