Chapter 5 Battleship

A group of sailor is riding a small rubber boat, sailing away from something

The group is Midoriya, Kaminari, Jirou, Sato, Sero and other sailors they all have cut and bruises also look very tired

"Before you all yell, yes they are here" L said before they could react

"Are we a sailor? And what happen?" Midoriya ask

"Yes you all are sailor and that will be revealed later" L answer

"Doesn't end like this" Midoriya said looking at the sailor

"What you want us to do? We have no ships left" Sero ask

"We have one" Midoriya said as he and sero look at an old WW2 ship

"We got a battleship" Midoriya said confidently

"Are you crazy? That's a museum" Sero ask confuse

"Not today" Midoriya reply as they approach the ship revealed to be USS Missouri

"Missouri? That's a state" All Might ask confuse

"Well during WW2 all US battleships are name after a state so yeah" L explain

"WW2? That's a WW2 ship?" Snipe ask

"Yep, that is the USS Missouri or Mighty Mo, an Iowa class Heavy Battleship build in 1941 and commission in 1944 until 1992 also the place where Japan sign the document of their surrender to the allies" L explain

"Wait! Japan surrender?! We fight the American?!" Kaminari ask surprise as others

"You don't know? Japan is the bad guys back in WW2" L answer and they all more surprise

"That can't be, we're the bad guys?" Midoriya said confuse and began to mutter others are discussing the shocking info they just receive

"Sigh, you all better study the history of your country as a whole not just the history of quirk and heroes" L said disappointed

"This ship is 70 years old totally outdated, the firing system all analog, the engine haven't been started in a decade which would be fine but they are steam which I have no idea how fire up and if I had the user's manual it's 6 weeks to go through it all, we still doesn't have enough crew to fire it up, I don't know what you're thinking sir" Sato explain the situation

"That's doesn't sound good at all" Kaminari said concern

"Yeah that ship is 70 years old, way too old" Sero added

"And a steam engine? Man that is old" Sato added

Midoriya look around and find there's a lot of old sailor standing everywhere in the ship, Jirou, Kaminari, Sero and Sato look around confuse by the old sailors, a group of old sailors is approaching  them Midoriya smirk and Kaminari look happy

"Who are they? And why are they on the ship?" Nejire ask

"They are the one who operated the ship back in WW2, or in other words the original crew of the ship" L answer

"Is everyone alright?" An old sailor ask as he and Midoriya shake hands

"Yes sir, we're okay" Midoriya answer

"You men have given so much to your country and no one has the right to ask any more of you and I'm asking" Midoriya said to the old sailors

"What do you need son?" The old sailor ask

"I need to borrow your boat" Midoriya said as the music start (Thunderstruck)
