Shashi Gupta: A successful businessman. Gupta designs, is a very well known company all over India. He lives in Lucknow with his family but thinking to settle in Delhi (reason will be known by the end of the update). He started his business with the help of his sister's husband Shekar and gained lots of success and popularity. His brother-in-law died after becoming success with sudden fall of health and from then onwards his sister stays with him and help him in his work by assisting. He loves his family and esp. his younger daughter.

Garima Gupta: A happily married women, lives with her husband, children and sister (sister-in-law) and loves them a lot. A supporting wife, caring but strict mother and a friendly too and a wonderful sister (in-law).

Madhumati Shekar: A widow doesn't have children but never felt like one because her brother's children never let her feel like that. She did her masters in marketing so helps her brother instead sitting at home and miss her husband and later she continued to go office but after seeing her brother's 2nd daughter in this world she started taking care of the first as Garima's complete attention needed to the 2nd one. From that time onwards she goes to office when the works needs her attention if not spends time with her niece.

Payal Gupta: 21yr old, elder daughter of the family, very matured, well behaved, loves her family a lot and a little more love towards her little sis and responsible towards her. She is in her final year of BBM and wants to do marketing to be like her Bua and her father.

Khushi Kumari Gupta: 18yr completing her 12th grade, very studious and very eager to became a fashion designer. She is very ambitious, chirpy and talkative at the same time matured and for that she wants to go to Delhi and study. As there is a very good university which provides the course she wanted. She loves her family a lot and her sister a little more and her best friend.
Payal is very attached with her bua and Khushi is with her sister. They have separate rooms but preferred to share one. And this doesn't meant that Garima is left alone. Madhumati & Garima are the best Jodi in their family.
Shashi says to his wife that he wants to settle in Delhi as Khushi wants to Study there and Garima agrees to it and also says not to discuss this with Payal and Khushi as they never keep secrets in between them.
So without the others knowledge he constructs a house there and till the time Khushi completes her 12th grade they will be shifting Delhi.
Though Payal & Khushi got full freedom from their family, they never miss used it. They know their limits and the culture. They never attend any official parties but just hangouts with friends who are from a good background.
