Manan:- Twin's Secret

Part 01:- (He is gone)

Manik:- (horrified) Where is Parth?

Neonika looked away as tears were flowing down by her cheeks. It was very difficult for a mother to announce that her son is dead but she had to do it. 

Neonika:- He...he is no more.

Manik:- (hell shocked) What???

Manik was trying to get up but Neonika held him and said,

Neonika:- (worried) Manik please calm down. 

Manik:- (panting heavily) Do you have any idea what rubbish you are saying? Parth can never leave us. In fact it's my time to leave. 

Neonika:- (crying) Manik please try to understand. He is gone and will never come back.

Manik:- (shouted) No it can't happen. 

Manik began to throw things here and there in anger. 

Neonika:- (hell worried) Manik what are you doing? Abhi abhi tera heart transplant surgery hui hai. You will hurt yourself. 

Manik:- (panicked) You are lying. I know you are lying. Dad, Dad where are you? 

Seeing Manik going out of control Neonika hugged him tightly and said,

Neonika:- (shouted) Manik calm down. Nurse Nurse....

A Nurse came running immediately and Neonika said,

Neonika:- Give him sedatives quickly. 

Neonika was rubbing his back as he was breathing heavily. When Manik calmed down a little, taking this opportunity, Nurse injected him with a heavy dose of sedative and Manik fell asleep slowly in Neonika's arms taking Path's name again and again.

Neonika:- (crying badly) God why are you doing this to me? You took away my one son, i didn't blame you. but now are you up to taking my other son too? No God no I won't let it happen. I won't let you take my other son away from me too. 

At Night

Raj came to the hospital and sat on a stool beside Manik. His eyes were blood red and his pale face was clearly saying that he had cried a lot. He looked at Manik and said,

Raj:- Is he okay now?

Neonika:- I don't think so. I tried to tell him everything but he started panicking so I had to give him sedatives. 

Raj:- (sadly) it's not easy for him to accept it in this condition. We should give him some time. 

Somehow Neonika hid her tears and said,

Neonika:- you must be hungry. let me get something for you to eat. 

Neonika was about to leave when Raj held her hand from behind. He pulled her towards himself, hugged her tightly and said,

Raj:- (angrily) stop pretending to be strong Neo. I know what you are going through, just let it out damn it.

that's it Neonika hugged him back and started crying hiding her face in his chest.

At Midnight

Neonika was sleeping, keeping her head on Raj's shoulder. She was very tired as she cried a lot today and was emotionally disturbed. But Raj was wide awake and looking at Manik who was sleeping just like a newborn baby. Suddenly a cruel memory hit him,

Flashback

Person:- (hell angry) Raj why did you bring that burden here?

Raj:- (shouted) Dad he is not a burden but my son. My own blood and flesh. 

Ram Malhotra:- well don't you know your so called son has a hole in his heart? He is going to die soon and let me tell you I am not going to give you a single penny for his treatment. So you better go and throw him in some dustbin.

Raj:- (hell shocked) Dad what are you saying?

Flashback end

Lone tears rolled down from the corner of Raj's eye. He always prayed to God to save his son's life but he never thought that God would fulfill his wish by taking his other son's life.
