'I Don't Understand Him'

Surbhi's POV

You know people say first impression is last impression. But is that so ?

Because my first impression was very bad in front of Mahir but the way he's talking to me it feels good and his first impression was also a bit bad in front of me but he's definitely not like that.

 Mahir's sister and mom are also so good.

They reciprocated my wishes with so much enthusiasm.

I was about to go and check Mahir's sister again when my phone rang.

"Hey mumma" I answered the call

"What are you doing?" She asked

"Nothing was going to see a patient" I replied

"Did you have your lunch" she asked. 

"Ye-yes mumma" I lied

"Lie. Surbhi !! I called Anjali and asked her. You didn't have your lunch and you are lying now" she scolded.

Anjaalliii!!!!!!!

"Mumma I'll have it." I said

"Oh.! When? Have you seen the time" Asked mumma

"Emm yeah..I'll eat. Okay now bye" I said and cut the call.

As I turned I collided with wall!

Sorry ! Someone !!

"Ouch!" I was about to fall and my eyes shut itself.

 But I didn't fall. I was in air !

Am I flying!!!

Two strong arms were around my waist which held me protectively. I...I felt the protectiveness.

I dared to open the eyes and looked at the pair of dark brown eyes which were full of concern. My both hands were on his shoulders clutching his shirt tightly.

As I gained my senses, it hit me hard.

I realized my position and tried to stand up properly and he left me carefully .

"Are you-" he was about to say.

"I am sorry Mr. Mahir. I just didn't know you were there and I collided.." I rambled

"No worries. But you fine" he asked

"Yea- yeah" I said.

 I was about to go when he held my wrist.

"Surbhi stop" he said and I froze where I was!

Even his voice is Intimidating !!

"You didn't have your lunch till now. You told your friend that you'll have afterwards.

When that time will come. You know its 4 and you didn't have anything. You yourself are a doctor then how you can be so careless" he scolded me.

Why is he scolding me. He listened to my  talks !!!!

"You were listening to my talks" I glared and what I got in return was a smirk.

"Not only me every passing by  have listened what you were saying" He replied

Congratulations Surbhi !Embarrassing moment once again!!!

"Emm ..sorry" I said eying at the floor

"No sorry. Come with me" he said grabbing my wrist again.

"Oooo...where " I asked

"To the food court!  Come and eat first" he said
