You were sitting in the dinning room, Mike sitting next to you, speaking to you about Norton and Victor. You weren't a very social person and preferred to stay alone. While you avoid any social interaction, it someone does try and speak with you, you'll immediately freeze up and try to not make yourself look like a fool. Speaking was never forté and it would probably never be. Mike continued on speaking about how kind Victor was and how fun it was to be with Norton. You silently nodded, throwing a smile at Mike every now and then, letting him know you were listening to him. After a few minutes of Mike speaking, Aesop walked in, probably looking for a drink. Aesop's presence always made you slightly anxious, he seemed kind but you were too afraid to speak to him since he seemed like someone to be really big on first impressions.
"Hey Aesop!" Mike smiled while waving to Aesop. Aesop looked over, seeming shocked but after a while nodded his head.
"Hello Mike, Y/n." Aesop's smooth buttery voice reaching your ears. The way your name rolled off his tongue made your heart skip a beat. You muttered a small 'hey' before looking down.
"Oh yeah! N/n don't you have a match today?" Mike asked while looking at you. Aesop's attention suddenly went from his coffee to you, which made you nervous.
"I uh-I mean ah- Yes um- uh" you laughed as you started slightly shacking. "I uh do have a match today....." you finally said quietly. You started judging yourself, thinking that you really just made yourself seem like an idiot. Mike smiled while you could see Aesop's eyes light up, maybe he was in the match as well? You got up and left as fast as you could, feeling dred from the 'conversation' that has just taken place. You walked into your room, shut the door and slid down the wall, hiding your face in your arms. After a while of just sitting there, you got up and walked over to a small bookshelf you had and took a mystery book you have been wanting to read for a while. You sat in your bed, opened the book and started reading. Oh how you wished you had (pet) with you, curled up by your side and freeing your anxiety for the upcoming match. You got lost in your book, losing track of time and letting yourself stay at peace, oh how you wished this moment would last longer then what it did last. After what seemed to be a short while but was actually a few hours, someone knocked on your door, the vibration from the loud knocking scaring you a little.
"Y/n. It's almost time for the match let's go." The voice of the mercenary spoke from the other side of the door. You sighed and shut your book, feeling your stomach start twisting and your hands getting clammy and sweaty. You walked out of your room, out into the long dark hallway that seemed to be taunting you, you could hear voices bouncing off the wall telling how you are a failure and how you are a burden to everyone. You quickly walked to where you would all meet before a match, you quietly opened the doors, trying to not get any attention on yourself more than you really had to. There sitting on the seats where the people you would have to be working with, Naib, Aesop, Emma and Kreacher. You sighed, trying to free at least some anxiety before the match. You sat next to Aesop since it was the only seat that was not taken. You looked down, fiddling with your long sleeves, trying to tell yourself that you are not going to mess it up, but it was kind of hard since that what always went through your head before, during or after a match. After a while of silent panicking by you and discussing about the match by the rest, your vision went black. You appeared at the Lakeside village, shacking like a leaf you made your way to the nearest cipher, you started decoding it. After decoding the cipher, you felt a presence near you, one of your abilities was to be able to tell when a someone was within a 5 miles away from you but you but you could not tell weather it was the hunter or another survivor, so you could either stay put and risk having to run from the hunter or run and leave a possible survivor, you mostly run away. You ran as fast as you possibly could, not wanting to see the hunter, which you were now aware was Joker. You ran into someone while looking behind to check if someone may be following you. You looked up to see Aesop, Kreacher not that far from him. You immediately started apologizing, panicking you thought that you had upset him in some way so you started running once again. You eventually found another cipher and started decoding, your shacking hands typing the keys. Less then mid way through decoding, you felt the presence of the hunter, since you didn't want to let down your teammates, you continued to decode, hoping Joker wouldn't get to you. A voice in your head told you to just forget the cipher and run, but you couldn't no matter how much that told you to just go. Once you finished decoding, you realized Joker was right behind you. In a panic you ran, which seemed much harder for you since your breather was getting uneven and it felt as if your legs would give out any second. After a while of running you tripped over an object that was lying on the floor causing you to tumble to the ground. Your head got hit against a rock and you suddenly felt sharp pain in your arms and legs, it wasn't until you looked closely to realize that your head started bleeding, blood was dripping from your forehead and there was blood on the rock. Glass shards were lying on the ground and they dug into your skin, your breath getting even more uneven as you start to shake, you felt as if you couldn't breathe. You knew exactly what was happening, an anxiety attack. Joker was behind you, unsure of what to do, he heard from Joseph that you suffered from anxiety but he wasn't sure what to do. He picked bridal style, your fragile body against his chest giving you warmth, trying not to hurt you anymore than you already are, as much as Joker wanted to, he knew it would be unwise to just take out the shards of glass from your arms and legs right then and there. Tears were streaming down your face and you slowly felt as if you couldn't breathe. You gripped onto Joker shirt in a desperate attempt to try and comfort yourself, still breathing heavily and unevenly, you wouldn't stop shaking or crying and you felt as if you were going to throw up soon. The last thing you hear was 'just stay with me here Y/n.' Before it all went black.
You woke up in a room that wasn't yours. Cameras were on top of a shelf and several picture were on the walls along with a french flag. You were laying in a comfortable bed with silky, blue bed sheets. The room was clean and organized and smelled wonderful. The door opened and you were greeted with Joseph holding a tray with tea and a slice of cake.
"Hey. How are you feeling?" He said softly. Joseph placed the tray down on a night stand and sat next you. A silence swept over you two until Joseph suddenly hugged you. His warmth engulfed you as you hugged back.
"You don't understand how worried I was when Joker walked in with you hurt and passed out." Joseph continued, pulling away from the hug and stroking your face tenderly. You blushed and looked away from Joseph. Joseph in return chuckled at your reaction, he sat you on his lap and continued to whisper sweet nothings into your ear while hugging you. You could feel his breath on your ear making you an even bigger flustered mess. After a while, knock was heard on the door making you squeak. Joseph set you back on the bed and walked over to the door. He opened the door from what you could see, Aesop was standing there, a concerned expression adorned his face. Joseph hesitantly let him in, since Aesop seemed worried but truly, Joseph wanted you all for himself. Once Aesop saw you, he immediately took your small hands in his gloved ones.
"Y/n! I was truly worried for your health. I'm quite sorry I could not have helped you." Aesop exclaimed while squeezing your hands. He softly kissed your forehead making you gasp quietly. While Joseph wanted to speak and yell at Aesop that you were his and his only, he knew that would be unwise. You were a fragile person and being caught in a situation where you would have to choose a preferred person would cause more distress to you which is not what he wanted.
"I uh- um I'm kind of tired.....Joseph, can I sleep in your bed a-a-again?" Your soft voice reached both males ears. Joseph just nodded while Aesop got up. As the two males were ready to leave you alone to rest, you spoke once more.
"Could you two possibly....sleep....here with m-me....?" You asked while turning your head the other way. Joseph and Aesop looked at you in surprise, they both nodded and went back into the room. Joseph went left from you while Aesop went right. Joseph hugged you by your waist while Aesop pulled you on his chest. You had fallen into a deep deep sleep with the warmth of the two males.
"Hey Joseph, is Y/n in there? I just wanted to apologize to h- I guess I'll just leave...."
