"Remind me again why he's coming with us?" Chaeyoung said as she glared at the blonde boy.

"Bold of you to assume I'd let strangers take my best friend and go just like that." He shrugged, "Besides, it wasn't her who accepted to go with you, you can say she's coming along because I'm going." He said cockily and Jennie found herself pursing her lips in a thin line to stop herself from laughing.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and looked ahead. They were headed to the forest, that was actually very close to Jisoo and Jimin's shared appartement." And why are you clinging to my friend like that?" She raised her eyebrow at him, noticing how he hasn't moved from Jennie's side ever since they left the

"Chaeyoung, was it?" He asked and she nodded, "Who hurt you?" He rolled his eyes at her this time.

What stupid game are they playing? Jisoo thought to herself, letting out a long sigh of exasperation, she felt like she was dealing with kids.

And before Chaeyoung could come back with a smart reply, he opened his mouth again, "And I guess it's just my instincts, we're going to the forest so my wolf is being protective."

She nodded hesitantly and stopped in her tracks, "We will have to shift now, our house is up there." She pointed to a place far up, close to the mountains.

"Wait what?" Jisoo shrieked, eyes widening.

"You're going to make her go up there? She's pregnant." Jimin narrowed his eyes at the tall girl, tone laced with worry and confusion.

"Chill." She gave them a smile that didn't reach her eyes and added, "I'm here, how do you think she got down here in the first place."

Why does this girl sound like she hates us so much?

"Alright then you shift, we'll walk." Jisoo said, gesturing for them to go on.

"How can I trust you'll be following us?"

"Well maybe because no one is forcing us to come, we're here because we.." Jisoo stopped to shoot a glare at Jimin then continued, "chose to come with you. We'll follow your scents." She said, her voice not wavering once and the girl couldn't say anything to that but nod, not after Jisoo made it very clear that she won't accept rejection.

"Well then, we'll meet you there." Jennie smiled sweetly and got on her friend's back, Chaeyoung had already shifted, even her wolf form looked intimidating, her fur was dark brown and she was big, bigger than most female alphas Jisoo had ever seen.

"So.. do you wanna go back home?" Jimin said as he looked at his friend sheepishly when the two girls were out of sight.

"No." She shook her head, "I want to know what he wants and what they're doing here or my wolf will never rest."

"Now this is not how I expected their house to look like." Jimin watched the big house made of wood and glass in awe, mouth gaping, "I literally imagined them living in tents."

They stood very far for a moment, Jennie and Chaeyoung were waiting for them in the entrance, the black haired girl talking about something and Jennie giggling cutely at whatever her friend was saying as her body was resting on a big chair that was placed right in front of the door.

The house looked like those you only see in movies, classy and neat. It had three floors and some spots of the house were covered with glass, the lightbulbs lighting up not just those rooms but also a small part of the forest around them.
