Hey y'all! I know I've been MIA for a while now and I'm so sorry! I've been focused on school and some of the new books I've been writing but I'm back! I hope y'all enjoy! If y'all need a refresher I encourage y'all to reread chapter 11! It would make this chapter make so much more sense!

"Where are we going?" I asked as I realized that he never told me exactly where we were going
"It's a surprise" he said with a smirk
"Come onnn, you can't just tell me?" I said, I was becoming impatient and wanted to know where we were headed. I'm the type of person who likes to be informed of things, so I can be somewhat prepared for what's coming next
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise anymore" he said
"True"
"You'll like it, I promise"
"Okay" I found myself blushing a little
The ride to wherever he was taking me was relatively long so I found myself dozing off. I don't think I'd fully woken up from the nap I took earlier.
"Skye, Skye" I felt someone shake me
"Hmm" I said sleepily
"We're here babygirl" he said causing me to open my eyes
I wasn't prepared for what lied in front of me at all. It showed different roller coasters lighting up the night sky. He'd took me to the amusement park I'd been wanting to go to for a while now.
"How'd you know?" I asked happily. I'd been wanting to come here for so long
"I listen to you, even when you don't realize it" he said making me look to the ground and smile. I didn't want him to see how much I was smiling but what he said did has an effect on me. It warmed my heart. "You ready?" He asked and I nodded getting out the car, and meeting him on the other side so that we could walk together
He held his hand out, and I wrapped mine around his and smiled up at him.
"Hi can I have two tickets please" he said at the ticket booth. It was fairly late so we were able to just walk up to the booth and get our tickets.
"That'll be $75" the cashier said
"$75??" I exclaimed. Ain't no way our first date should be costing this much
"It's okay Skye. I came prepared" he winked and slid the cashier a 100 dollar bill and she returned $25 and the tickets
"Alrighty then, let's go" he said grabbing my hand again and we headed into the amusement park being met with a huge fountain with the merry go round behind it.
"What ride do you wanna get on first?" He asked.
"We should start off slow. Let's get on the merry go round first"
