As we exited the bus and walked to the front steps off our school everyone was looking and me and whispering.

"Hey Madison we heard what happened and we'll make sure he and his nasty soc friends don't even look your way." Steve said and two bit shook his head

"Thanks guys, I appreciate it." I say and Hug them and walk off

As I was putting stuff in my locker someone comes up behind me

"Hey baby did you enjoy last night?" It was bob, oh boy was I scared but I couldn't show it not over my dead body

"No I did not and I would watch out because my whole gang know and the shepherds gang and you know who's in my gang right? Dallas Winston. So bob be careful while you're here." I say and pushed him off me

"Oh Madison are you ok I saw him next to you, oh boy just wait till Dallas and soda and Darry and Steve find out! Even the shepherds gang because you and pony hang around with them and you're like a sister to them." Two bit says

"Ya, tomorrow we should go hang out with curly at the dingo or something. We haven't got to see them a lot." I say and two bit agrees

*time skip through school*

"Ok everyone ready for tonight?" The girls clapped

Me and cherry cheered and ran out in to middle of the Field and the rest behind us

"WE ARE ROPERS! YES WE ARE!WE ARE STRONG! YES WE ARE!"

and then music started playing

We were all now flying in the air as some of us did backflips and some did cartwheels and some where flyers

"GOOOOOOOOO ROPERS!" We all screamed and ran over to the benches

*pretty boring to talk about the football game so I will just skip over that"

"Maddie you were great out there good job!" Ponyboy gave me a high five

"Ya Maddie you were great" Dallas says and everyone agrees

"What time is it? I have a project I want to finish tonight" I say

"About 7:30" Steve says

I shack my head and thank him

"We're home finally, my feet are killing me" pony says as he takes off his shoes and pulls Johnny into the living room.

Darry walks out of the kitchen

"Dinner is ready so come eat" he says and everyone gets up and heads to the kitchen

"Madison I know you don't want to talk about it but we have to. What happened between you and bob?" Darry says
