"Come on Ry, you would love it. I could show you around. You could get out of the house. And you could meet all of my old friends" says Leo as I pack the last one of krista's Journals away. Over the past few days all I had been doing is reading. Studying the art of being Shadowkissed. Parparing myself for the furture.
"Leo, Parties arn't my thing. Plus its tonight and I have nothing to wear" I say trying to get myself out of going to this party
"Ryan you just read 30 years worth of books, and you could always ask Mia to borrow something" he says and I roll my eyes
"Her clothes would be like skin tight on me!" I protest
"I wouldn't mind..." he says grinning and I feel my cheeks warming up as I blush
"Leo, I dont wear tight clothes. I never have" I say and he frowns
"Why not?" he wonders
"I dont like the way I look in them" I offer as a reason
"Ryan you would look amazing in anything" he says. I push the truck of books under Leo's bed. I stand up and fix my hair
"Well... How long is this party?" I ask changing the subject from my insecurities to the party again
"It would only be a few hours. And I swear I wouldn't be you alone with any big bad wolves" He says and I giggle
"Well in that case I need another escort" I say wrapping my arms around him
"Hm...I don't think I like that idea very much" he says and I fight the temptation to laugh. I don't understand why we're flirting. But its fun.
"Is that so?" I ask raising my eyebrow at him
"The very thought of you with someone other than me, is unimaginable" he says and I can tell that our 'flirting' is over. And we are going to be moving on to a much more serious topic
"Leo" I start resting my head on his chest "You dont have to worry about that"
"How so?" He asks resting his head on mine
"Because I'm yours. Completely and utterly yours." I say pressing my lips to his. Suddenly his bedroom door was opened and a small shriek enters the room. We break away in laughter
"Gross!" Sequels Suzy standing at the doorway
"Well you should have knocked" defends Leo in a joking manor
"Mom wants you guys to come down for dinner, but if your gonna do that stay up here" say Suzy with her nose scrunched up
"Don't worry Suzy, we'll control ourselves" I say leading Leo out by the hand, he laughs at my remark
"Good" she says skipping ahead of us. Down stairs was every kind of food imanginable. The dinner table was packed with amazing looking food. Grace always makes sure everyone as had there full. I think because of Sheri. No one in this house will ever not eat again.
"It looks amazing Grace" I say as i take my seat beside Leo
"Oh, just something I whipped together" she says
"So now that you're done reading... What are you planing on doing? I mean now that you have so much free time" asks Mia
"Well Leo and I are going to a party tonight...And then I don't know" I answer and Leo perks up
"So you'll go?" He asks growing excited like a little kid on Christmas
"Yes, I'll go" I say and he smiles one of those big grins that spread across his face
