For some reason I couldn't sleep tonight and Kemoni wasn't feeling good therefore she was wide awake so I laid with her in the living room, tending to her while she watched tv
"Come on mamas it 4 in the morning. You should be sleep right now" I yawned then stroked her curly hair as she laid against me, keeping her eyes on the tv
She reached her hand up and rested her hand on my cheek for some reason then looked at me before letting out a couple of hard coughs
Down the hall the room door opened but I knew it was Kentrell so I didn't bother trying to look.
"She ain sleep yet?" Kentrell's voice boomed and I shook my head
"No"
Kemoni looked up at Kentrell as he walked over to the chair and reached up from him
"Daddy" she whined while coughing so he picked her up and sat down beside me. I looked at Kemoni before reaching over and grabbed her cup, handing it to her
"I gave her some medicine so she should be out soon"
Kentrell looked down at her and kissed her forehead
"Good cause me and you needa talk"
I turned to face him and rested my elbow on the back of the chair
"Honestly Kentrell... all we can do at this point is wait. But if this is your son, I don't wantcha babymomma anywhere near me. She was straight up disrespectful the other day and I already know me and her gone have problems"
Kentrell sighed "and it ain gone be no problems cause she ain gone talk to you no kinda way. And I hope this baby ain't mine cause she already trippin. Talkin bout all she want is child support at this point"
"So she did all of this just for the money? When she clearly said she wanted you to be in her son's life cause she basically was jealous of how you took care of Nasir and Kemoni"
"Cause she bipolar as fuck and I swear I ain got time for this... shit mane"
I shook my head and focused on the tv again.
This Babymomma drama was the last thing I wanted to ever deal with but here it is. I just wish she would've never came around again
"Well we already know what's gonna happen if this ain't your child, so the question is if he is... where you going from there? What's gonna happen next?" I asked then waited for his answer
"Ion even know"
"Well you gone have to know something Kentrell because you need to be prepared. And I'm not even gonna try to tell you what to do cause ion feel like hearing how I'm controlling you"
I could hear him smack his lips "you ain controlling a damn thing"
"Let ol girl tell it, I am.. but honestly Kentrell all I can really say is be there for him. The same way you love on and spoil Kemoni and Nasir, that's how you treat him because even though his momma is childish as hell, he ain't got nothing to do with it" I bluntly told Kentrell. He looked at me as if he wanted me to say more but honestly I really didn't know what else to say
"This whole situation fucked up"
"It is. But it'll be okay. You know I gotchu 100% and nothing less"
I then let out a yawn and Kentrell laughed
"Gone take yo ass to sleep"
"I'm goo.." I cut myself off with another yawn making him look at me sideways
