I haven't seen kentrell in about 2 or 3 weeks..

I'm guessing he was busy doing shows and forgot about me

But it's whatever everybody eventually leaves one day

"Why you looking so down?" A voice boomed making me turn to see him..kentrell

"Do I look down to you?" I questioned

"Yeah" he laughed walking over to the hospital bed

"Oh" I mumbled looking back at the tv

"You mad at me or sum?" He asked scrunching up his face

"Do I have a reason to be mad at you?" I turned his way mugging

"No" he said nonchalant "well there go your answer" I said fake smiling

"Look if you mad about me not coming to see you these past few weeks I was busy in the studio" he explained

"Okay" I said shrugging

He stood there awkwardly rubbing his neck

"Come on lemme take you to the cafe" he said grabbing my hand

"I'm not hungry but I'll go" I said getting up and putting on my slippers

We walked out the room heading towards the elevator

He pressed the button opening it

"What floor it's on?" He asked turning to me as we walked on "3" I said leaning on the railing

He pressed the button and it started going down

"How you been feelin?" He asked breaking the silence between us

"Good I guess but umm I have my chemo session in a few days" I shrugged

"Damn you gon be Ight tho" he said nodding

"Yeah sure" I mumbled as the elevator door opened

"What you don't think you gonna be good?" He asked scrunching up how face as we walked out the elevator

"Chemo makes me weaker than I already am so I mean I don't think I'm going to be good" I explained

"Let's go in hea" kentrell mumbled grabbing my hand leading me to a gift shop

"Why?" I laughed

"Imma pick you out sum so I can always be by yo side even when I'm not Thea" he mumbled looking around

"You ain't gott-

"Shut up I'm doing it" he said walking over to a shelf

I looked at him pull out a small green teddy bear smiling

"Imma call him slime bear" kentrell said with his accent laughing walking to the register with me behind him

"I like green tea" I mumbled

"Guh what?" Kentrell laughed putting the bear on the counter

"Green tea cause he gre-never mind"

"This mane name is slime bear" he said pulling out some money

"How you gon name my bear?" I said mugging

"Mane yo name sound like a damn drink mines at least got my nigga throwing up 4kt trey" he said grabbing the bear from the lady

"Lemme hold him" I said holding out my hand

"Nah this my bear" he said innocently hugging it making me pout

"I'm just playing hea cry baby" he said pecking it before giving it to me

I smiled grabbing it and looking at it as we walked out to the cafe

"Don't lose slime bear or imma be mad" kentrell said mugging me

" I won't I promise" I cheesed hugging on it

"You adorable" kentrell mumbled shaking his head

"Huh?" I asked raising my eyebrows

"Nun come on" he said grabbing my hand going around the cafe

"You want sum?" He asked going into the freezer grabbing him something to drank , I shook my head no

"No food nothing?" He asked again

"Nope I'm good" I insured him

"Ight na if I get sum you Betta not ask for it either" he said walking over to the cooked food

"I'm not" I said rolling my eyes

"Lose that attitude" he warned looking back at me

I mugged him being quiet

"That's what the fuck I thought" he said holding on to his pants like he really did sum

"What may I get you?" The lady asked him

I zoned out the conversation as I looked down at my bear

He would always be by my side right?

I'll always remember this gift...
