"No ma I'm not hungry" I said lightly pushing the soup away from me
"Baby you have to eat" she said sitting on the side of the bed
"I'm to weak to eat I don't have the strength" I sighed looking at the ceiling
"Just get some rest then" she sighed kissing my cheek
I grabbed on to slime green tea bear and held him in my arms as the pain started back up
I did another session of chemo last night and I've gotten weaker as usually
Slime green tea bear was there with me to I guess you can say it's my inspiration to fight back and make it now
"Say kahlo why you ain't eating?" Kentrell voice boomed making me open my eyes slowly
He stood there with flowers in his hand and a frown
"I don't feel like it" I mumbled
"Girl eat cho fucking soup it'll make you feel better" he said pushing it back over to me
I shook my head cuddling in some more with my bear
He smacked his lips going on the other side of the hospital bed pushing me over some getting on
"How did yo chemo go I was tryna get here last night fa you but my label needed me in the studio" he said making me sigh
"It was fine I'm just weak right na" I mumbled
"You ain't weak you my 38 tough guh" he laughed throwing his arm around me
"Kentrell why do I have to keep going through this if it's not working?" I mumbled quietly
"How do you know it's not working silly?" He said trying to lighten the mood but it wasn't working
"I heard my doctor tell my momma that their running out of options" I said light with my voice cracking a little
"That don't mean it's not working maybe it's taking it's time" he suggested
"No I think I'm dying faster every time" I said sighing
"Say don't speak like that you see that bell out thea" he said pointing outside the door , I nodded "you gon ring that bell cause you gon be a survivor my survivor at that"
"You think so?" I asked "fa sho I know" he said tightening his grip around me
I laid there staring at the wall slowly falling asleep
"Say if you feel better by next weekend you can come ice skating with me and the gang" I heard kentrell say while rubbing my back
"Okay" I mumbled groaning from the pain
I slowly drifted off to sleep holding on to slime green tea and kentrell..
