2. The University Of Auckland

I woke up with the infernal beeping of the alarm clock.

I seriously have to take Lisa's advice and just put some calm music on my phone and wake up to the sound of it...

- Chaeyoung! Breakfast's ready! - the voice of my favorite person echoed through my room

- Coming mom!

The cold breeze made itself present in the second I pushed the blankets of me. I went to the closet and picked up a red Adidas sweatpants (since we were going to have a dance class), a black top, a red Adidas jacket, grey socks and black and white adidas sneakers. Yup, I have a soft spot for Adidas.

I made my way towards the bathroom and did my morning hygiene.

- Hm... Pancakes - the yummy smeel filled my nosestrils

- I made you three, just to give you energy to face your Thursday!

- Thank you mom - I smiled, sat down and shoved a huge piece of pancake in my mouth - I vil shtat da daysh wit—

- WOAH, you can't speak with your mouth full, young lady! Where are your manners?

I chuckled and Mom waited patiently for me, which gave me time to analise her. She was wearing black tight jeans, a Grey t shirt and a red and black flannel shirt. Wait... Is she wearing make up?!?

- Are you wearing make up? - I asked putting a small amount in my mouth this time  - Have you met someone?

- Maybe... But I don't want you to think that I'm replacing your father

- I know Mom. Even though I miss Dad, I want you to be happy

The older woman smiled at me:

- But what were you trying to say before?

- Uhm.... Oh! Right! So, I was saying it was going to be a good day since my first class is dance with Lisa an—

- Lisa! I love that kid! When was the last time she was here?

- First of all, she's 17 so she's not a kid. Second I don't know, with me working and her passing most of her time with her dad—

- Ow, is he sick? Oh my God, is he dying?!?

- MOM! - I screamed frustrated

She looked at me surprised and raised her hands:

- Geez! Okay, sorry, you can talk

I chuckled with her reaction:

- As I was saying, I'm going to have dance class with Lisa - I stopped talking just to see if she was going to interrupt, but she didn't - After that, I'll have a singing class and then English. Annnnnnnd Lisa is spending time with her dad 'cause he's teaching her how to take professional photos. She's really into photography

- So her dad isn't dying

I laughed, got up and washed my dish:

- The bus arrives in five minutes, you better hurry up dear

I nodded and went upstairs to wash my teeth. After that, I picked up my bag and made my way to the door:

- Good luck with your date Mom! It's one of your only days off!

-Good luck in school dear! Don't forget to catch the bus! Love you!

- Love you too! - I closed the door and made my way to the bus
