You know, over the magnificent amount of time I've spent here, I've come to associate Wattpad to a safe space. It's my safe haven, it's a place where I can express without being completely paranoid about people hating how I think and what I write and eventually, hating me.
But let's be honest, when has it even been possible to completely put your anxiety at bay, huh? *laughs at herself*
But anyhow, that's exactly why I thought about publishing some of my poems, short little parts of me I wrote when I was feeling down, or inspired, or perhaps both.
After containing this inside of me for so long, I feel like it's time to take a chance. I'm feeling weirdly empowered, and this is a spur-of-the-moment decision, so maybe I'll regret it tomorrow morning. Maybe I won't. We'll see.
After all, it's the climb that matters, right? Gotta love me some Miley.
Alright, if you've read till here, well then, I congratulate you for making this far without passing out. You make me proud. *tears up*
