I went directly towards Dax's office; I know he will be there at this moment. Right now so many things are running through my head and I know I can't ask questions to dax that will lead to nothing but will only complicate things

Why on the earth we never got to know that there was a new law and how many of us never got to know about it and for how long was it going to continue, if we have never assigned the duty of kidnaping the human then we wouldn't have ever come across it.

But the question is still the same why the hell they needed a human there are so many peoples in the palace and we can kidnap anyone but the human and there is something amiss in her she is quite intelligent on the contrary

When I reached in front of the office door I closed my eyes and took a lung full of breathe not only to calm my heart but to calm my brain as well I have to have a clear mind before getting inside I knocked two times and opened the door only to see dax sitting behind his desk with closed eyes

"We got the girl" I informed briefly, he opened his eyes and nodded his head

"Where is she?" he questioned me although I have my own questions, I think I will manage to find answers myself

"She is with Davis in his home" I replied even knowing what will be his reply

"What is she doing there she should be here in the cellar" he looked directly towards me and asked

"I didn't want to take risk of her life over here, even though you stated that she is here just because she is close to the current queen and their family and you are just keeping her here is for bargaining, still I don't believe in you so she will be staying with us until then"

I said to him firmly, he shouldn't have brought a human in all this. What was her fault? Just because she was close to the current queen family she is kidnapped and she was kept over here that's the ridiculestist thing ever to say the least

"Why do I smell rebellious from you?" he questioned to which I rolled my eyes hiding the shock came to me

"Get a grip on yourself Dax," I said to him and left from there without saying anything. My mind is running in a marathon at this while I have to think about all conclusions and I have to talk to the messenger I have sent to confirm the law

I moved outside of the warehouse when I felt someone following me I turned around instantly but there was none in the vicinity, I smelled the air there was no new scent over here that only means maybe I am overthinking. I shrugged and move ahead to my destination

After walking for a few while I have reached the place where I have asked him to come and meet and there he is standing looking ahead, he is a vampire once I have helped him and since then he is there for me whenever I needed help. He always wears a hooded jacket, whenever I questioned him about this he never answered me

"Did you found anything regarding the matter?" I questioned him

"Yes, there is indeed a new law regarding this matter and there are lots of people who got recognition among pack and palace as well. This law is not only for werewolves but for every supernatural being. This war has stopped the progress of taking rogues in the pack and kingdom but they say after the war whoever found guilty will be punished who is out of this matter will be living either in Moonorio kingdom or in their respective kingdoms rather than staying in a pack"

I looked towards him dumbfounded; this is a mess we have landed in a serious mess for sure. What should we do now? I am so confused to say anything regarding this matter. I think I should talk to Davis, max, and Mory I came out of my thoughts when I heard his voice
