Love songs feel half empty when I'm not with you,
My heart isn't in them; I never know what to do.
I'm not myself when I'm not at my best,
I think you can figure out the rest.
You can read me like a book,
Know how I'm feeling with just one look.
It freaks me out sometimes,
How you can read my soul through my eyes.I don't need to say anything when I'm feeling like hell,
You'll know exactly how I feel; like I'm under your spell.
There's something so pure in what we have,
Delighted you're my other half.
There was always something missing from this life,
Something I never did quite get right.
Something that is tried and true,
I love me and you. What kind of sorcery do you have access to?
You can tell a lie and turn it true.
Diamonds glisten more than ever when you're around,
Music sounds so crisp, a sapphire sound.
I'm used to being alone with myself and my thoughts,
You put this introvert to the test and inspired my art.
I thank you for that,
A muse to my romance poetry,
Two hearts perfectly in tact.
Blinded by wondrous glory.I don't need to say anything when I'm feeling like hell,
You'll know exactly how I feel; like I'm under your spell.
There's something so pure in what we have,
Delighted you're my other half.
There was always something missing from my life,
Something I never did quiet get right.
Something that is tried and true,
I love me and you.Me and you have a chance at forever,
A love reborn under the most perfect weather.
I can sense triumph in the air,
I used to be lingering so high up there.
Me and you got everything right,
What a perfect, blissful, carefree life.
