Chapter 2 - 오랜만 || Long Time No See

Jiwon's POV

"I'm Aerin. Aerin Kwon" she said. 

Oh, what a lovely name. I never had the chance to have her company longer, but that was enough for her to captivate my heart. I never had this feeling towards a girl before. She was different, indeed. I think I like her. But, I never had the chance to tell her. Someday..

"Hey! Wait up!" Jisan was running towards me.

"Oh! What's up?" 

"Aren't you excited to go back to Korea? I can't wait to leave." Jisan didn't seem to like the weather here, it was too hot. I guess the real reason is that his parents forced him to join us.

"Well..." I thought of her. The thought of leaving her. The thought of the possibility of not seeing her again. The thought of her pains me.

"Well, what?" Jisan told me, waking me to reality.

"I don't know.. I'm kind of used to this place already.."

"You have got to be kidding me, right?"

"Well, I like it here. To be honest, if we leave.. I'll miss this place." 

especially her....

"Yeah, yeah! I still can't believe I survived one month here, and in two days... HELLO! KOREA" Jisan said while putting his arms in the air.

I just laughed at his silliness.

I looked up the sky.. "I hope you won't forget me..."

The  day we will leave came. I had mixed emotions going through my body. Of course, I was super excited to go back to my hometown. I missed my bed, my house, everything. I feel broken deep inside. Aerin.. this little patootie stole my heart, and now no one owns it but her. 

I felt someone tapping my back. I turned around.. It was her. Coincidence? I think not. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

"Hi!" She smiled.

"Oh hey!" I was startled because of her sudden appearance.

"Last day, huh?"

"Yeah, I can't believe it. Time flies so fast."

"Mhm, you're right." She nodded. Silence filled the air. We were just sitting near the parking area where our van was waiting.

I coughed. "So, what brings you here?" I said trying to break the awkward silence.

"I'm just here to say goodbye. I already said goodbye to my classmates, you know, Eunbi, Seungji, and Jisan." 

"Oh, okay. Uhm.. Goodbye?" I scratched the back of my head and let out an awkward smile. Why am I so awkward right now T^T

She laughed. So pretty..

"Don't be silly! I'll miss you.."

"Awwwwwwwww!! I'll miss you too"

Without anything said, she hugged me. I was blushing so hard my face looks like a tomato. She can't see me like this. She tried to end the hug, but I hugged her back, tighter, so that she won't see my face. My heart is beating wildly.

"I can't breathe..."

I ended the hug. I cupped her cheeks. I will really miss this little patootie ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
