Chapter Seventeen

Three months later

The media went ballistic at the returned of America's favorite girl group. They released a Christmas album with the classics along with two original songs.

"They will be performing tonight!!" The interviewer screamed out into the crowd that cheered.

Entering the millennium record without Anthony was a rush of fresh air. "Nice to have you back Mrs.Carter" Diane smiled brightly and rose returned the genuineness. "Nice to be back here. Do you have a schedule for me?" She nodded and showed you her clipboard. "At 9 am, you meet the girls in studio A. 12pm, you will be off to james Corden and Ellen with the rest of the group, school girls and around 8 or 9pm, depending on when you all are done with the different interviewers you will return here for a recording session."

Nodding I dismissed myself and made my way to studio A. However, my sight didnt fail to catch Jaebeom and one of the females from the korean girl group being close in the sitting area. I let out a defeated breath before heading up to the 4th floor.

Midnight hit as I sat alone in the studio, lying to Anthony about long recording nights. Small coughs left my lips and my throat dried, we were out of drinks in our small refrigerator in here.

I left the studio to go to a vending machine when I saw what I hope wasn't happening. My Gatorade dropped as j froze at the sight.

Jaebeom pulled away from the female and stared at me. He obviously didn't  care anymore and went back to the lips of the member who name I had already forgot. Unapologetically, I marched up to him and separated them. "This isn't the place for that." My hand was wrapped around his arm. "I beg to differ." He responded.

"We need to talk..." I pulled him along with me but he pulled his arm away causing a stumble. "No.." I looked up at the male and he glared down at me. "You don't understand, jay." He scoffed "I do, now I need to get back to my girlfriend who you just disrespected."

I caught his wrist again and I noticed the annoyed sigh tremble through his back. "I really need to talk to you.." he turned to me again and the look in his eyes that he once had for me was gone. "About what? You use me for a moment to get some new dick?" I jumped back at the vicious whisper. "No, that's why we need to talk." He chuckled "I don't know why I didn't see this coming. How can I wife a woman who cheats on her own husband."

He clearly wasn't listening and I flinched at the pure hatred and verbal attack he's finally letting off his chest. "I don't normally attract a woman like you, I problem was only fascinated by the thought of having you.." he mumbled for only us two to hear. "ROSETTE!"

The loud voice boom through the hall making jaebeom's 'girlfriend' and I jumped through our skin. However, the male in front of me eyed down my husband. "No worries bro, she's all yours." He looked at me and I swear I saw his face change when he saw the terror in my eyes.

Anthony waited for a moment before his next move. He stared at Rose like a predator eyeing its prey. Hearing the door close, he approached her and she ran towards the exit. "I didn't do anything I promise!!" She screamed out.

On the outside, Jaebeom stall his movements allowing seulgi to move along into the car.

"I only came here to get a drink..." he heard her voice scream out again and he approached the door.

"The girl--the girl was his girlfriend. We didn't do anything, he was insulting me that's it. Just like you, he thinks the same." He heard the rambling behind the steel door and jumped when he heard a loud bang against it then pure silence. "Loverboy thinks you're a slut too. That says a lot about who you really are." Another loud bang was heard against the door and he opened it off pure instincts.

He saw the female head bleeding on the floor and the drop of blood on the door. "I forgot my flashdrive...." he lied to get back into the building without suspicion. He went over to rose who was clearly dazed from a head injury. "She's so damn clumsy, I don't know how she managed to do that."

His eyes stayed on his former lover and she crawled away from him unaware of the person before her. "Don't....do it again please, I-I feel like I'll go unconcious." Her words slurred and jaebeom frowned. Guilt began to consume him.

His phone reacted as a message came through. Seeing Jackson mentioning the duo feature song they were working on, he told him to come into the area with the excuse he used moments ago.
