Years had gone by, all three girls graduating high school and going off to college. Mina stayed behind, taking a gap year to help her aunt in her bakery in town. She didn't mind helping with cooking, in fact, she loved it. The town her aunt lived it was right next to a college town, which meant, rowdy college kids coming in from time to time. Sometimes, she would chat with fellow omegas, other times, arguing with alphas who thought they needed to be charged differently.

This time, a rather tame group of alphas had walked in, all of them in awe of the different treats in the refrigerated pantry in front of them. Mina watched them from the corner of her eye as she decorated a few cookies for a pick up order later in the day. Her aunt smiled at the alphas, mainly being nice to them.

"Look!! They have the chocolate kind!" One of the alphas gasped. She was average build, long black hair. Her eyes completely focused on the food in front of her.

"Momo, I thought you liked the custard kind." A blond girl spoke up. Mina could tell she was an omega just from her scent.

"I do, but look at those... They look so good." She was practically drooling over the chocolate filled pastry puffs in front of her.

"We do have the custard kind." Mina spoke quickly.

"You do?!" The girl, who Mina assumed was named Momo, gasped, eyes lighting up in delight.

"Mhm." Mina chuckled.

"Don't give her any. She had a dozen doughnuts on the way here." Another girl laughed. The girl had definitely caught Mina's eye. She was gorgeous. Her hair was neatly done, half of it tucked away and pinned back out of her face. She had beautiful eyes too... Mina couldn't stop staring...

"Mina, you're dropping sprinkles." Her aunt warned.

"Sorry auntie!" Mina's cheeks flushed red, making sure she didn't drop anymore. The girl laughed in front of her, not in a teasing way, but more of... A casual way. Mina thought her laugh was adorable.

"I've seen you around here before... Are you still in high school?" The girl smiled.

"No... I graduated... Just.. taking time off to help my auntie." Mina answered quietly. The girl nodded, watching her decorate the cookies through the glass. "A-are you in college?" Mina pushed out.

"Yeah, studying business." The girl shrugged, she glanced over to see her friends ordering their baked goods, seeing Momo ordering the custard filled pastries. She rolled her eyes at the girl's appetite. "So.. Your name is Mina?" the girl smiled.

"Y-yeah..." Mina nodded, trying to focus on spreading the icing smoothly on the now cooled cookies in front of her.

"Mine is Sana." She smiled at her. "You should hang out with us sometime." She winked. Mina felt her cheeks get hot again, unsure on how to react.

"Sana! Stop flirting with her." The shorter girl with extremely short hair laughed. Mina looked up to see Sana's cheeks turn slightly pink, her eyes averting away from Mina. She couldn't help but laugh at the alpha, who was now completely and utterly embarrassed.

"Chaeyoung I'm going to kill you!!" Sana shouted while chasing the shorter girl out of the little shop. Mina couldn't help but laugh at the scene in front of her, watching the rest of the group leave.

Her aunt shook her head, light laughter coming out as she walked closer to Mina, "Looks like a young alpha has their sight set on you." She chuckled while patting her niece's shoulder.

"What?!" Mina gawked. "Hardly!" She scoffed. "She.. She isn't even that interested. Besides.. She's... Probably never going to come back." Mina shrugged everything off, her aunt still laughing as Mina denied her feelings for the young alpha. She had finished decorating the cookies, finally earning a break. She hung her apron up, walking out of the shop to head to another for lunch. She heard the familiar voices of the same alpha group that had walked into the shop an hour prior. She couldn't help but listen in on their conversations.

"I'll put money on it." A voice laughed.

"How much?" Another asked.

"Fifty?"

"Stop betting on me!" Mina could tell it was Sana's voice, the way her voice just sounded.. It was almost like music. "I'm not going to ask that omega out.."

"Yes you are." Another voice laughed. "You were standing right in front of your favorite cookies in the world, and you were more focused on the girl than that." She laughed even harder.

"Not all of us are food driven Momo." Sana growled. Mina decided to leave them be, continuing her trek to the grocery shop. She entered the familiar store, walking down the aisles to pick out her favorite snack, then following the same path to the drinks, picking out a small bottle of water before heading to the register.

"Mina!" Hyejin smiled at her. "Got the stuff?" She whispered.

"As always." Mina opened her bag, pulling out the bag of snowball cookies.

"Pleasure doing business with you." She smiled.

"Your mom doesn't get mad that I trade cookies for food?" Mina asked while opening her water bottle.

"Nah, mom loves your aunt. Especially since she feels like she kinda owes them for my sister and I being complete tornadoes when we were younger." She laughed. "Your aunt doesn't mind you sneaking these cookies out to trade for food?" She asked while putting the little cookie in her mouth.

"Nope. I made those at home." She smiled. "I tweaked the recipe a bit..." She whispered. Hyejin frowned, chewing the cookie slowly. "Please tell me it still tastes good..." Mina immediately frowned.

"It actually.." She mumbled. "It tastes actually really good." She smiled. "You should really take over that bakery. Forget everything else. Just supply this town with baked goods and everyone will be at peace." She chuckled. Mina laughed, shaking her head. It was hard to believe that everyone in town knew her and her aunt for their pastries. It of course meant that their shop was never going to go out of business either. Everyone was always asking for birthday cakes, cookies, anything they could get ahold of. It filled her with a sense of pride really.
