hi this is a filler chapter bc it just explains what's happening in the next chapter, it's literally 300 words LMFAO
DIANA BARRY laughed along with her friends as they made their way across town. Diana, Anne, Jane, and Tillie had a day off. They went to college at Queens, and today they didn't have any classes. They took this day to advantage and decided to go into town.
They shopped for all sorts of things you could think of. They currently all sat at a table in a tea shop. They laughed and giggled, enjoying each other's company.
"I do miss Avonlea school house." Tillie said, taking a sip of her tea. The girls nodded in unison.
"I remember my first days there." Anne said, thinking about when she first met Gilbert, her cheeks turned pink and she smiled to herself.
"Anne, do you remember when you hit Gilbert Blythe over the head with a slate?" Jane asked, and Anne nodded, laughing a bit.
"Who knew after all these years, you and Gilbert would have feelings for each other." Diana said, remembering the countless times Anne said she was not a "Gilbert Blythe fan."
"How romantic." Jane sighed.
"So, Tillie, have you made your decision between the Paul's yet?" Anne said, and the girls burst out laughing.
"Maybe, I don't know." Tillie said with a smirk on her face, but laughter still spilled out.
"Well, I've been thinking about some things. I miss Jerry!" Diana said, and put her hand over her mouth after she realized what she said.
"Do you miss your relationship with him or your friendship?" Anne question, a small smile on her face.
"I suppose relationship. Letting him go wasn't a good decision." Diana said, a frown on her face.
"Well there's still time in the day, let's go to Green Gables and tell him!" Jane suggested, and the girls thought about it.
They all nodded, and got up from their seats.
"I'll get Gilbert to accompany us!" Anne said, running towards where he would be.
"We'll get the tickets!" Tillie and Jane said, running towards the train station.
"I'll get our things together!" Diana said, running towards queens.
