18.

It's crazy, isn't it?

It's crazy how fast time flies by and leaves you stranded, in the middle of nowhere with whatever you have with you at that moment.

You had always heard people say that getting old was the worst and your youth was the prime of your life. However, you had evidence that could point to those statements being correct but also wrong.

The third year of high school was almost like a crushing weight dumped on top of your shoulders. The assignments were the main weight piled atop your shoulders, the realisation that you were mere months away from being a pro-hero hit you like a brick, the training was way more intense which carried a constant ache in your muscles, while the need to improve seemed to balance on top of everything like a desert cherry.

You didn't mind though, because, with your friends, high-school, the stress and weight were much more bearable with them.

Who were your friends? You may ask, well they were more commonly known as 'The Big Three'.

Tamaki Amajiki, Mirio Togata and Nejire Hado.

Ever since you met the three of them, you had never felt happier. You could be yourself around them without being judged in the slightest, and their personalities never seemed to clash against each other.

Mirio Togata was the first of the three you met after he found you waddling around the halls like a lost puppy on your first day of U.A high. He was the group's comedian – well if you could even call him that. His jokes were dad jokes, to simplify it. But still, in some way, he could always manage to make you laugh or put a smile on your face. In Tamaki's words, he was kinda like the sun; Warm and bright in whatever the situation.

Nejire was quick to meet you after Mirio did, her curious periwinkle eyes catching yours before she bounded over to you and swarmed you with questions – almost as if she was a curious child. She was so sweet to you and so supportive of everything you did, she was easily the kindest girl you had ever met. You knew you could trust her, and something about her just made you spill your feelings to her and she understood. Her words and smile were nothing short of sweet.

However, Tamaki was your favourite out of the three – not that Nejire and Mirio were bad. Although you were a tiny bit intimidated by him, the first time you met him, he turned out to be the most gentle person you had ever seen. Whenever he was around you, he seemed to stumble over his words and his cheeks fumed with a red colour. His shyness only made you become attached to him, his smile was the one thing in the world that could only make you smile every time you saw it. His indigo eyes hardly ever met yours, his voice never stopped stuttering and his hands never stopped fiddling with each other, but somehow, you knew that you mattered much more to him that he was able to convey.
