I awake with a pounding headache. My phone alerts me with a few messages from an unknown number at 4:21 AM.

UNKNOWN:  the car is parked in the front.

get in.

Y/N: who is this?

UNKNOWN: your worst nightmare

Y/N: so namjoon?

UNKNOWN: ...yes

Y/N: oh.

I change his contact name to Joonie.

JOONIE: now get in the car.

Y/N: what about school?

Y/N: but I haven't even showered yet...

I quickly wash myself up, throw on my outfit, comb my hair, give Taehyung a hug and and head out the door.

A suspicious looking van is parked right in front of the apartment building and the driver opens the door for me. I look at him cautiously, but when I see Jungkook waving at me, I jump right in.

He extends his arm towards me. He wraps his arm around his shoulder. I lean into him and notice he smells like lavender soap and mints.

Namjoon grimaces. "UGH NOT AGAIN!"

I roll my eyes. "You can just hug Jin if you're so mad. Uh, where is he, anyways?"

Namjoon pouts and Jungkook bites his lip. It's quiet for a few seconds but Jungkook finally speaks up. "That's the problem... he's not here."

"Just not here or not with the gang?"

"Not with us," Jungkook reveals.

"If he's not with you guys, then where is he?" I wonder.

Namjoon buries his face into his hands. "We don't know."

All the wind was stricken out of me. It felt impossible to breathe.

Jin was... missing?

"We'll be able to find him, right?"

"Of course we will," Jungkook tightens his arm around me, protectively.
