It was the early hours of the morning. Y/n and Peridot were in Steven's bathroom. It had been a few days since Lapis had fled the Earth taking the barn with her. Peridot lay sprawled out across Y/n's legs with her face down on the the tub floor moping while Y/n was sat leaning back in the tub. Steven had returned to where the barn was originally and luckily found Y/n's guitar. Y/n was now plucking a few strings trying not to think too much. 'Maybe singing about it will help.' Y/n wondered to himself and he begins to pluck the strings in a small melody.

"Y/n..I need comfort again..." Peridot says her hands out stretched and tears leaking down her face. Y/n puts his guitar to the side and opens his arms to Peridot who crawls onto him and begins to cry. Y/n closes his eyes and rests his hands on Peridot's back and hair.

Steven wakes up in the morning from the buzzing of his Cookie Cat alarm clock. He begins his morning routine at the kitchen sink, such as brushing his teeth, washing his face, and cleaning his ears. He then dunks his head into the sink full of water to wash his head further. At that moment, Amethyst emerges through the Temple Gate and Pumpkin, barking excitedly, runs up to her.
