I've been looking at my watch for god knows how many times since Austine and my son were gone this morning. That kid asked me if he could decide with his family. Pinayagan ko na lang dahil kailangan rin naman niyang kunin ang mga gamit niya. I know he can't refuse me. The offer I made cost me a lot of fortune too. Hindi biro ang ganoon kalaking halaga every month. Kahit sabihin pa nilang isa ako sa pinakamayamang tao sa Pilipinas o kahit sa buong mundo man hindi ko basta-bastang winawaldas ang pera dahil pinaghirapan ko rin 'yon.

I can tell that he can do his work properly and won't disappoint me if I  give him an examination slot for teachers at DLU. My family owns that school and is quite known here in Asia. It was dubbed as Asia's Harvard and our school produced one of the best graduates and students.

"Roan." Tawag ko sa aking sekretarya na nakaupo sa kanyang lamesa dito sa opisina.

"Yes, sir?"

"Nagawa mo na ba ang kontratang pinapagawa ko sa iyo?" Tanong ko dito habang binabasa ang report tungkol sa kompanya ko sa Milan.

"Yes, sir. Also sir, I just want to remind you that after we get back to Manila you have a scheduled flight at 3 pm to Japan for a meeting with Atty. Yakazaki Nao." Paalala niya sa akin. I just gave a nod and continued to do my work.

Nasa kalagitnaan na ako ng report nang biglang tumunog ang personal phone ko. Nandito lahat ng contacts ng family and friends ko. Nang makita kong si mama ang tumatawag napagdesisyonan kong 'wag nalang sagutin. I'll be seeing them tomorrow anyway at alam kong tatadtarin lang nila ako ng tanong at papagalitan.

"Sir, tumawag ho si Senyora Nathalie. Kapag hindi niyo raw ho sinagot ang tawag itutuloy daw niya ang announcement about your engagement with Miss Kailen Ramirez." Sabi sa akin ni Roan dahilan para mapahilamos ako ng mukha. Damn! At sino nanaman itong Kailen Ramirez?

"Fine." Kahit kailan talaga si mama. Her antics will drive me insane.

I turned my phone on and called my mom.

"Ma! Sino na naman ba itong Kaileen Ramirez?" bungad kong tanong rito.

"Kailangan pa ba talaga kitang takutin before you answer your damn phone? Anyway, kamusta na ang apo ko? You're so careless, ijo! I can't believe you almost lost our grandson. At kahapon pa talaga namin nalaman iyon. Have you gone mad?!" pagalit na sabi nito sa akin.

"Noah is fine, ma. Don't worry. Uuwi na kami bukas." I assured her while pinching my nose bridge.

"Good, nandito kaming lahat ngayon sa mansion. You better go home with Axel baka naman didiritso ng base iyang kapatid mo.Kung kailangan pagsabihan iyan gawin mo." Paalala niya sa akin. Bakit parang ako pa ang mas matanda sa aming dalawa ni Axel?

"I know, ma. I need to hang the phone na,ma. Something important arrive." Paalam ko dito ng makita ko si Austine na papalapit sa table ko.

"You're 1 minute and 32 seconds late." Bungad ko sa kaniya ng makaupo ito sa upuan kaharap ng aking table.

Nakita ko ang pag ngiwi niya at pag-irap. Loot at that guts. Let's see if you dare to do that again after you start working under me.

"Do you have any problem, Mr. Villaluz?" seryosong tanong ko dito.

"S-sir? Nako! Wala po." Mabilis niyang tanggi habang pinupunasan ang pawis niya.

I don't know why most of my employees that I talk with would sweat kahit ang lakas-lakas ng aircon sa office ko. I laughed mentally, halata namang kinakabahan siya pero I don't know how much guts it takes him to be able to wipe his underarm sweat infront of my face.

Most people knows that I'm a serious and mature guy specially when it comes to work but I can be fun sometimes. Great recognition to my friends na puro mga gago.

"Okay. So have you decided already? Do you accept my offer or what?" Tanong ko dito.

"Accept po, sir!" Sigaw niya.

"Papasok ka ba as my employee or sa army ni Axel?" biro ko dito.

"Charot! Employee po, sir. Hehe. Kinakabahan lang talaga ako, sir." pag-amin niya.

"Have you packed your things already? Make sure you also have your passport. I might bring Noah outside the country with me." Sabi ko dito. I wanna make up with my son a little. I'm not that cold hearted. My parents brought us up in a loving home and they were the best parents to us. Despite their busy schedules they never made us feel like they are not part of our lives. Unfortunately, I never learned from them.

"Opo, sir. Kumpleto na po lahat."

"I see. Here, this is the contract. You can read everything written on it. You can ask questions if you're confused." Paliwanag ko dito. I leaned my back and crossed my arms after he accepted the paper and began to read it. I studied him while he's doing his work.

This guy looks quite ordinary for a human. Though his face looks too soft and feminine for a guy. His nose isn't that high, but it got some nice shape. His face is small too and his skin is quite light and white. He's got some doe eyes which I find really attractive. No homo. His lips is weird though. It's heart shaped.

Nakita ko na ibinaba na niya ang kontrata kaya I snapped out of my thoughts.

"So, Mr. Villaluz, do you have any questions? Complains?" Tanong ko dito.

"Ay wala naman po, sir. Perfect na perfect." Magiliw niyang sagot at ngumiti ng pagka laki-laki. I just shook my head lightly.

"That's good. Before you start signing, I have some personal questions to ask you first if it's okay with you" I said at umayos ng upo. I saw him staring intently at my body. I know he was checking me out since yesterday at natatawa nalang  ako mentally kapag namimilog ang mata niya.

"O-kay lang po, sir. Basta hindi niyo lang po ibebenta sa media. Chor! Joke po. Peace hehe." Wala sa sariling sagot niya at inabot ang iced tea na inihanda ni Roan sa lamesa. Hindi ko iyon pinansin at dumiretso na sa unang tanong ko

"Mr. Villaluz, are you in a relationship right now?"

"Ay nako, sir! Wag kayong mag-alala wala kayong karibal—este wala hong nagtangka, sir. Study first kasi ako." sagot niya. I chuckled silently. This kid never fails to amuse me since yesterday. Akala siguro niya hindi ko naintindihan ang una niyang sinabi.

"Don't worry Mr.Villaluz, I don't have plans to have a karibal since I'm definitely straight. Anyway, the reason why I'm asking you this is because of my son's security. I don't want to meddle with your relationships in the future but I suggest for you to refrain from meeting your companion while my son is around. It might cause a lot of problems in the future." Paliwanag ko sa kanya. Uso ang mga spy at sa pamilya namin hindi kami basta-bastang nagtitiwala sa mga tao. Kahit mga maid at pamilya nito tinitrace kong malinis ba ang record.

"Nako, sir. It's okay lang po talaga. Alam ko rin naman na isa kayo sa pinaka importante at makapangyarihang pamilya sa bansa. Madaming risk kaya naiintindihan ko po."

"Glad to hear that. You can sign this now and you may go out after." I said as I handed him a pen and an ink pad. 

Pagkatapos siyang pumirma at maglagay ng thumb print ako naman ang sunod gumawa. We stood up together and shook our hands. Suddenly, I felt electricity run through hands to my spine. I guess naramdaman niya rin 'yon dahil mabilis siyang napabitiw.

Hello po! Nagustuhan niyo ba ang chapter na ito? Ang POV talaga ni Nathan ang pinakahihintay kong isulat sa lahat pero siya rin ang pinakamahirap dahil mostly ay english ang loko. Nakakaubos ng dugo talaga!

Nakakasulat talaga ako ng madalian kapag stress at pressured. Stress na stress ako sa isang minor subject namin binigyan kasi kami ng sixty huhuhu gusto kong maiyak mga beh.
