Author's note:
I could not help but writing this poem after listening to the song 'Before you go' by Lewis Capaldi.
So, before I go
I want you to know
There was nothing you could do
Nothing you could say
To stop me from hurting
I did this to myself
Nobody else
Don't search for someone to blame
You will find no name
But my own
Everyone was happy
While I was down
I didn't want to make you frown
Not even now
I hid this from view
Hid it from you
To stop you from seeing
That I was bleeding
My life was draining out
I had no doubt
That this was the only solution
Forgive me for that
But don't you dare shed a tear
For I don't fear
What death has in store for me
So, please move on and be happy,
After I go.

Whispers in the dark
PoetryThese are short poems that came to me at night. They are a little depressing but so are all my thoughts at night. Still, some of them contain a little light. Enjoy! P.S. I've got a lot of songs in my head while trying to sleep. xxDaydreamer
