SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA yeonjun's house
"Thanks for the ride, Naeun." Myeonji thanked her assistant. Song Naeun was Myeonji's assistant ever since she was ten. Naeun had offered a ride to their hangout and since the girls didn't have their licenses yet, they accepted.
"Be out here at nine exact. If you're out here at nine-oh-one, I'm heading home." Naeun replied jokingly yet seriously.
"Will you be able to drive Chae home?" Myeonji asked her assistant.
Naeun looked at Chaewon. "Do you need a ride home?"
"Myeonji said I can sleep over." Chaewon replied. Myeonji's eyes widened and so did Naeun's.
"I did?" Myeonji asked. She didn't recall saying anything about a sleep over...
"Did Mrs. Hwang allow it? Does she know?" Naeun began asking questions. "Myeonji, this is rare and very unusual."
Before Myeonji replied, she turned to look at her friend. "Mom doesn't know." She looked back at Naeun. "But please, Naeun? Can you ask my mom for me? Chaewon's my friend and I haven't had a sleepover in years."
Naeun looked at the two girls. She exhaled. "Fine. I'll tell your mom about it. If she agrees, Chaewon can come home with us. If not, I'll give you a ride back to her house."
Myeonji sighed. "Thank you, Naeun. Really."
Naeun nodded and drove off. Soon the Porshe was out of sight.
"Hey!" Myeonji gently pushed Chaewon. "Why'd you say you were coming over?!"
"I'm sorry alright! I just wanna hangout with you." Chaewon replied.
"We are right now though." Myeonji pointed at Yeonjun's house. "My mom-"
"Please, Myeon. I don't like my house. My parents are annoying. Please, just for one night, let me sleep over." Chaewon despartely spoke.
"Woah..." Myeonji grabbed Chaewon's shoulder. "Is everything... alright at home?" She whispered.
Chaewon shook her head. "No... I trust you Myeon. Please don't tell anyone. Yeonjun doesn't even know." She looked down. Chaewon was slightly embarrassed. I guess the time had finally come. She needed to tell somebody.
