Lauren's pov
It's 11pm and I really want some McDonald's, I also can't sleep. I get out of bed putting some skinny joggers on, and grabbing a hoodie. I grab my phone and wallet and keys, I go downstairs softly unlocking the door, I slowly close it behind me and lock it. I shiver because it's freezing and I only gave hoodie, I unlock the door and grab my jacket.
I finally make my way to McDonald's, I put my headphones in a do a slow jog, one to get me there quicker and two to keep me warm.
On my way I see someone walking around in just a t-shirt, I shake my head because they must be freezing.
As I got closer I noticed something, I run a bit faster and get to the small girl.
"Camila" I say, she looks at me and I see the tears on her cheeks
"Hey, what's wrong? Why are you out so late?" I say, she runs into my arms hugging me, I hug her back.
"Hey, get this on" I say, I take my jacket off putting it on her, she wraps it around her and I kiss her cheek rubbing her arms.
"Hey, I'm going to get some food, come on" I say, she nods taking my hand and we walk there in comfortable silents.
"What's your order?" The man asked, I look at camila and she cuddles into my side, I notice she's in her little space.
"A meal 2 with a coke, also a happy meal with a fruit pot and a coke also please" I say, he nods and I pay, we wait for our meal and when it's done we sit down.
"Hey, you going to tell me what happened?" I ask, she shook her head
"Okay, you're sleeping at mine though okay" I say, she nods and cuddles me again, we eat and when I was finished I feed camila the rest of hers.
We walk back to my house and when we get there I lock the door quietly, camila giggles into my shoulder as I make a weird face as the noise happened.
"Where was you" I hear, I sigh and slowly turn around to see my mom, she looks at camila who giggles again.
"McDonald's...I also got camila" I say, mom nods
"I'll speak to you in the morning" she said, I nod softly
"Off to bed" she said, I take camilas hand
"Nite nite" she said to my mom, she waves and my mom does it back with a smile. I get camila into some sweats and a hoodie, I climb into bed next to her wrapping my arms around her. She cuddled into my chest and I kiss her head, she yawns and grips the back of my shirt, I smile and rub her back softly. She falls asleep and I do not long after.
