Need a hand?

The next morning I wake up to see dom not in bed beside me so I get up and get dressed for the day. Once I'm ready I head downstairs to see no one in the house so I head outside.

Hey jean. Jess says as I walk into the garage.

Hey jess. You guys need a hand? I say checking out dom who is talking quietly to Brian.

Yeah can you and Leon work on the engine. Letty asks.

On it. I say getting to work.

You really love him. Leon says

I do. I say working. As I work I see Mia go up to Brian and whisper in he's ear something loud enough for me to here.

"He owns you." Mia says to Brian as she leaves the garage.

Hey Brian check this out. Jesse says as Brian goes to him. "These are the additions, this is the basic layout of the car, and this is what it could look like when it's done. Red, green, whatever." Jessie says showing Brian the computer screen

"Hey man, you should be going to MIT or something."

"No man, I got that attention disorder."

"Oh, A.D.D.?"

"Yes, that shit." I hear Jesse says as I continue working as I work I feel two hands on my shoulders and completely freeze knowing exactly who it is.

Get off of me Vince. I say shaking he's hands off of me and looking at him.

Can we talk please. Alone... Vince asks

No. I have work to do and the last time we talked alone I ended up getting hurt so that no is a hell no.

Jean please.

She said no. Now leave her alone. Dom says as he wrapped he's arm around my shoulder

Fine. Vince says leaving.

You ok? Dom asks kissing the crown of my head.

Yeah. Let's get back to work. I say going underneath the 1994 Toyota Supra Twin-Turbo and working in it from the bottom.

How long have you guys been up? I ask getting out from under the car and grabbing a wrench from the tool box.

Half and hour Dom told us not to wake you because of what happened last night. Leon say.

What happened last night? Brian asks

None of your business. I say going back to work. After two hours everyone takes a break for lunch but I stay behind to continue working.

Jean don't stay to long in here you will miss lunch and your date. Letty jokes asks she leaves.

Ha ha very funny. I'll be out in a few minutes. I say working. As I work I feel two hands wrap around my waist.

You got to eat you know? Dom whispers in my ear

I will Dom. I just want to finish this. I say turning to him and looking up at him lovingly.

princesa, lo siento mucho por no poder protegerte anoche. (Princess, I'm so sorry for not protecting you last night.)

It's not your fault Dom. I say as he cups my face and kisses me passionately as I kiss back wrapping my arms around he's neck.

Where are we going tonight?

You will see it's a surprise after all. Hey I am going to go for a ride just me and the buster. Will you be ok here? Dom asks looking at me worried.

Yeah Leon and Jess are here so I'll be fine. Hey can I have a hint so I know what to wear? I ask

Nope what about a surprise don't you understand princesa. Dom says as he and I leave the garage for lunch before he heads out with Mr Arizona
