|A few days later|

I been up with Saint since five this morning cause he been crying and it's seven now and he still won't stop crying. I didn't want to wake up Alyssa so I came downstairs.
"What's wrong man why you keep crying". I ask looking down at him as I rocked him.
"You have to sing his song". A voice said from behind me causing me to look back to see Alyssa.
"What you talking about". I ask watching her take a seat beside me.
"Let me see him". She said holding her hands out and I hand him to her.
She positions him to where he's laying down in her arms.
"Baby, you're all that I want When you're lyin' here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven".She started to sing looking down at him.
"An' love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven".I watched as he started to calm down and stare at her.
"Once in your life you find someone He will turn your world around Pick you up when you're feelin' down".She sung kissing his fingers.
She stopped singing and he started crying again.
"You try". She said handing him back to me.
"I can't sing". I said as we both laughed.
"Just sing the song". She said and I looked down at him.
"Baby, you're all that I want When you're lyin' here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven". I sung and he started to close his eyes.
After a few minutes of me singing he was sleep.
"See look at that daddy putting in work". She said with a smile on her face causing me to laugh.
"Where he get that from only quieting down if you sing that song to him". I ask looking over at her.
"When I had him in the tub I sung that song to him and ever since then that's been our song". She said looking down at him playing with his fingers.
"Let's go to sleep before he wakes up again". She said standing up and I did the same following behind her.
Laying on the bed she gets on the other side laying down as well.
|11 o'clock am|
"Kingdom wake up". I heard somebody say causing me to scrunch up my face.
"KINGDOM WAKE UP". The person said again hitting my bare back.
"What". I ask looking up at her.
"Your mom keeps calling". Alyssa said before walking away and into the bathroom.
Picking up my phone I see my mom texted me about seeing Saint today.
Standing up I walk inside the bathroom to see Alyssa in the tub connected to the shower giving Saint a bath.
"Where you get that little tub from". I ask cutting on the shower.
"I bought it this morning". She said looking over at me as I stepped out of my clothes and into the shower.
"You always take baths with him". I ask looking at them through the glass.
"Yea just until he's one cause I can't really bathe if he goes first but maybe since you're around you can bathe him while I shower". She said and I nodded grabbing a towel.
"My mom wants to see Saint today". I said and she nodded.
With that she told me more about Saint as we washed up because I wanted to know everything down to the last shit he took.
|3 hours later|
Pulling up outside my moms house I cut the car off and get out going to get Saint while Alyssa grabbed his diaper bag.
Grabbing her hand we make our way to the front door and I walk in closing it behind us.
"Kingdom is that you". My mother asked coming around the corner.
"Yea ma it's me". I said and she covered her mouth in shock.
"Oh my lord look at my grand baby ". She said walking over taking him from me.
"Hello sweetheart how are you". My mom said to Alyssa bringing her into a hug.
"Hello and I'm fine ma'am". She said smiling at they hugged.
"Let's go sit in the living room". My mom said walking away and we followed her.
Taking a seat on the couch Alyssa sits close to me laying her head on my shoulder.
"When did you have him". She asked and I looked down at Alyssa.
"Five months ago". She said and my mom nodded.
My phone started to ring so I pull it out of my pocket and see Nino was calling.
"Wassup". I say as soon as the call connects.
"We got that Damon nigga here right now". He said and I looked over at Alyssa who was laughing at something my mom said.
"Give me 15". I said before hanging up.
"Aye you gone stay here with my mom I'll come back to pick you up". I said standing up and she looked at me confused but nodded.
Walking over I lean down and kiss Saint before making my way out of the house and to the car. Getting in I start it up and back out.
He about to learn the consequences of fucking with folks...
