Chapter 11

Lisa woke up a little bit late since it was weekend and she had no works at the office. She stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower.

After that, she got dressed up. She was wearing a black shirt tucked in her favourite jeans. Satisfied with her choice, Lisa got out from her room and went downstairs.

She heard the sound from the tv and her aura automatically became cold, knowing Jennie was in front of the tv. When she turned around the sofa, frown were visible on her face when she saw Jennie sleeping on the sofa, all curled up. Lisa knew Jennie didn't go in her room since she didn't hear any door cracking sound. She went to Jennie and slightly shake her to wake her up.

"Get up. It's 11 in the morning already." Lisa said with narrowed eyes. Jennie seems unbothered and kept sleeping. Lisa sighed in annoyance and sat on the chair near the sofa.

"Your parents want to meet us for lunch." Jennie instantly got up and looked at Lisa. "Do you want breakfast? I can make you pancakes or do yo--" Lisa cut her off by putting her hand up.

"Keep it. I don't feel like having pancakes. Go take shower and we'll go meet your parents later." Lisa said while looking at her phone. Jennie smiled bitterly and slowly got up from the sofa. Lisa never rejected her pancakes. But now that she did, Jennie feels like she's being abandoned little by little.

Jennie walked upstairs and went to her room to take shower. Few minutes later she got dressed in a beautiful black dress that Lisa bought a few years ago. It was beautiful and elegant. She smiled, looking herself in front of the big mirror. Then her phone rang and she saw her father's name. She quickly picked it up.

"Hello Jen? Are you coming for our lunch? Lisa told me you're a bit sick so I'm trying to make sure you're okay. We can cancel if you're still sick." Her father started with a long conversation. The smile plastered on Jennie's face hasn't gone. "I'm fine dad, I'll come with Lisa. See you later."

"You sure? Well then okay. Bye sweety, see you in a bit." and with that her father ended the call. Just as the call ended, she heard the door open revealing Lisa with her annoyed face. The face that Jennie always found it cute.

"You're ready, finally!" Lisa said with annoyance in her voice. Jennie smiled, but the grey hair girl just gave her a blank look so Jennie bit her lips. It's awkward when Lisa's like this. "Let's go. I'm not going to waste my times here." Lisa left the brunette staring nothing in the room. Jennie quickly went to chase Lisa as she heard the car's engine being started.

At Kim's Mansion

Jennie's p.o.v

Before we got in, Lisa told me to pretend that we're okay like we usually do. But now she's not even looking at me. We're currently talking and eating in my parents dining area and she doesn't even bother to be a little bit not obvious. We always teased each at the family dinner or sometimes we would be lovey-dovey but now my parents are starting to look at us with curious face.

When my dad was talking to my mom, I quickly went closer to Lisa's ear and whispered, "You're being obvious. Where's our lovey-dovey scenes?" I saw her clenching her jaw and damn I didn't mean to make her... aroused?

She looked at me with a blank look and she smiled before feeding me a spoonful milk flavoured ice-cream. I know she's pretending but I always find her 'pretend doings' kinda cute and sweet. My parents looked at us and smiled. I held Lisa's hand and smiled shyly.

"You guys have been together for four months now. Lisa, aren't you thinking of taking my daughter for a honeymoon?" I felt heat rushed up my cheeks when I heard the question. I can see Lisa looking at me from my perspective side.
