"No Khushiji I can't love you, nor can I marry
you. I love only my Rani Sahiba. Are you this pathetic that you don't even care about my child growing inside her womb. Why do you always force me to leave her. WHY KHUSHIJI WHY?" He swiftly changed the whole scenario that even Khushi didn't understand what the hell was going on.She pushed him and turned around to leave when she saw Anjali standing there beside the door with her eyes wide open, bloodshot and filled with tears.
"You bloody home wrecker!" Anjali rushed to Khushi and gripped her already sore arm in a brutal grip.
"I knew, I so knew that you were after my husband. Why Khushi why? Can't one man satisfy you? Can't Chotey satisfy you that you've been after my Shyamji from so long." She chastised Khushi in a deafening voice.
By now everyone was present there with their mouths wide open. Payal rushed to release her sister from Anjali's tight clutches, trying her best not to hurt the pregnant women.
"Anjali ji you've heard it all wrong. It isn't how it looks like. H-he...he changed the whole situation." Khushi tried explaining.
"NO! ENOUGH! I don't wanna hear a word that comes out of a slut's mouth."
In the meantime Akash had tried calling Arnav, wanting to inform him about the shit show that was going down and tell him to get back as soon as he could but his phone was not reachable. He tried calling Aman, Arnav's executive but his phone too conveyed the same thing.
"You're not gonna live here anymore. GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS HOUSE. You're nothing but a threat to my child, my marriage, my Shyamji."
"ANJALI JI!" Roared Payal.
Everybody gasped. Payal? How could she scream at their Anjali bitya? Manorama started spitting utter nonsense about Payal, not caring how heated the situation was.
"Humey nahi pata is ghatiya aadmi ney kaisi pati aapki ankhon per baandi hai kay aap itni andhi hogai hain. Apney pati ke ilwala apko aur koi nazar hi nahi ata asi bhi kya pagalpanti?" (I don't know what kind of blindfold your husband has blinded you with, you can't see anything other than him! What for stupidity is this?)
"PAYAL" Akash screamed at her.
"Chilao mat Akash! Bohat dino sey chup bethi rahi hun main. Why is everybody throwing accusations and threats at my sister only? Why didn't any of you open your mouths this morning when he walked in the house as if nothing happened! Why didn't you guys question Anjali? Huh?" She continued. (Don't shout Akash.)
"And Anjaliji, didn't your brother warn you about not seeing Shyam?" She questioned Anjali.
"Why is nobody talking about that? What is so majestic about this scumbag that nobody has the nerve to question him? Is it because he's with you for money or because he is betraying Anjaliji?" Payal asked.
"BAS! Enough of your drama. I'm not gonna buy any of that. And how dare you accuse my husband of such an ugly act? It's your own sister who's a home wrecker, don't imply that on my husband." Screamed Anjali.
Akash rushed to his sister's side and held her.
"Please di let's go inside you'll get sick if you continue like this." Said an impatient Akash, not knowing how to ease the whole situation.
"No Akash leave me. I'll sit peacefully after throwing this home wrecker out." Said Anjali with disgust in her speech.
"Enough Anjali ji! You don't have to kick me out, I myself am leaving because you guys are so selfish and blind that you try to unsee the others suffering, knowing very well what they're going through. You don't want me in this house? Well you couldn't have made my day any better because I happily want to leave." A sad yet composed Khushi told.
Nobody stopped her.
She rushed to her room and picked her already packed things and came out of the room with her bags. Payal was right next to her.
"Jiji you please don't get sad. It's good that this happened. My sixth sense had been telling me that this would happen, that I would somehow get misconceived yet again. I've actually lost count of how many times these people have misjudged me, especially Arnav. Anyway it has made it easier for me to leave. I'll go to our house in Lucknow for now by train, please don't tell anyone I'm there, especially Arnav shouldn't get a whiff of it. I'll try to keep you updated."
Payal's heart bled for her little sister. How could she still be so strong and composed after the horrible episode that took place a few minutes ago.
Khushi and Payal made it downstairs through the poolside where no one was. They exchanged their goodbyes with Payal telling her that she would soon try to visit her. Crying, they broke the hug and with a heavy heart Khushi walked away.
She was misunderstood yet again. She had no evidence to prove her innocence, little did she know the hidden security cameras that surrounded some parts of the house had caught the whole truth.
This chapter was over. At least for now.
