"I HAVE AN URGENT QUESTION THAT NEEDS ANSWERING—AND THE SAKE OF MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT," Sypha's voice came out dramatically panicked, which caught Thranduil's immediate attention. He stopped in his tracks whilst turning to meet her gaze, his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes widened slightly. If Sypha didn't know any better, she'd say he looked almost worried.
"How do you get your hair to be so shiny?" Any visible sign of worry immediately fell off of his face.
"I do not have time for games," the elf sneered, his perfect features twisting into a scowl. "Either ask me relevant questions, or get out of my kingdom." Sypha rolled her eyes, causing his eyebrow to arch a bit. Did she really just roll her eyes at him? Normally, he wouldn't have taken that disrespectful behavior from anyone else. But Sypha...she was different.
"Oh, come on. I'm dying to know. It just looks so soft..." She made an attempt to reach out and touch his hair, but Thranduil swatted her hand away before she could.
"You just wasted precious seconds you could have used to your advantage," he told her, beginning to walk off once more, his silver robes flowing behind him effortlessly. "It is a shame your beauty does not come with brains." A smirk tugged at her lips as her eyes narrowed devilishly.
