Finally deciding to walk inside with Kiyoko, you were met with lots of different teams, all practicing their butts off. Thank our lord and saviour Asahi Azumane for not being you playing volleyball, or any sport at all for that matter, it's still too early in your opinion.
You heard behind you a few gasps of how big the gym was considering the one at Karasuno was about 1/4 of the size. You went and sat down on the bench for your team with Kiyoko soon joined by Ukai and Takeda sensei.
The boys first game would be with Nekoma ( i don't remember which team they start with so i'm just going with the flow ya know) in which they notice a new member on the Nekoma team, a very tall one at that.
You weren't on the team when they had their first practice match with Nekoma so you have no idea who any of these people are. Though, does it really matter, if they play volleyball they have to be a little stupid don't they?

"Hey, that tall guy wasn't on the team before was he?" said a confused but adorable Sugawara. "Not from what I remember" replied Daichi. "WELL, that is because he recently came to the team, he just didn't come last time because he was too busy learning how to receive" "WHAT!" Bloody heck here we go again. "I KNOW HOW TO RECEIVE!" shouted an angered tall boi, "I'm Lev Haiba by the way, nice to meet you all!" You sweatdrop at his sudden mood swing, man period?
"Speaking of new people," started the cult leader of Nekoma, "Who's this new girl on your team, she's pretty". Bruh if he knew..
"She's OUR second manager" replied Tanaka and Nishinoya almost instantaneously and rather a bit too vain about it but oh well. "And what's your name?" Kuroo asked while he held his hand out for you to shake. "(Y/n) (L/n)" you responded, standing up to shake his hand, only for those two idiot second years to stand there gaping at your choice of behaviour.
After introducing yourself to Kuroo, he waved goodbye and went back to his teammates, as you turned at sat down again, waiting for the boys to get it together.
~when they're on the court~
Daichi, Sugawara, Asahi, Nishinoya, Tanaka and Tsukishima were on the court, all playing their parts of the team whilst Nekoma had their team set up opposite. The game started off decently until Karasuno dropped a bit causing Nekoma to score more points.
Basically Karasuno sucked balls during the first match, having nobody to really practice with and tell them their weaknesses, strengths ect ect. So they played how they usually would. Nekoma's team was clearly more advanced and knew their strong points and used it to their advantage. Karasuno was a mismatched team thats for sure, but who knows what they'll be able to accomplish in the future...
