Chapter 11

Hayden's pov

It was around four in the afternoon when I heard the door opened.

"Hayden, you in here?" I heard my best friend's voice announce.

"I'm in bed" with that, Alexis walked into my room with a wide grin

"Where were you all day?" I ask

"I.... Was around" she sighed

"I was with Jade lastnight, best night of my life..." she smiled

"Then in the morning she talked about commitment and just wanting us to be friends" she furrowed her brows

"Then I got detention and spent it with Tokyo again" she shook her head smiling

"I guess we both had a sucky day" I gave a weak smile

"Why do you say that?" she questioned

"We...... You know" I chuckled

"But in the morning she..... Regretted everything.... Then later in the cafeteria she was devouring Danny's face" I sighed

I felt arms snake around my back, Alexis pulled me into a hug, I held her waist and she rested her chin on my head

"Do you care about her Alot?" she asks

It made me question myself, I've known her for a few days and it's felt like years. She was different, but it made me drawn to her even more.

I had no idea what we were, call me  friend but keep me closer.

"I do"

"Give her some time, she'll come around, being in a place like this can mess with you, maybe she needs to figure out her feelings... If you guys truly care about each other, you'll work it out.. Even if that means just being friends" Alexis says

She's right, I didn't want to loose Maddison

We stayed there for a few minutes before pulling apart

"You need a drink" she says

"And how do you suppose we get that" I say sarcastically

"Leave it to me" she smiles before rushing out the room. I wonder what tricks she has up her sleeve

I feel my phone vibrate under my pillows, finally charged.

"Whatcha got there?" Alexis asks walking back into the room with two glasses and bottle tequila

What in the world

"How did y-"

"I have my ways" she giggled.

I drank three shots straight feeling the burning sensation down my throat

"Here, Isabella gave me a phone charger" I whispered

"Why are you whispering? There's no one around, and who's Isabella?"

"The walls know secrets" I chuckled, feeling the alcohol flow through my veins, but I'm no lightweight

"Isabella is someone I met a few doors down from Maddison, she gave me a charger to cheer me up"

"It's great that you're making friends" Alexis smiles

"Just remember I'm bae" she chuckles before downing a shot

"Ofcourse you are" I smile

"So.... I heard that parents and guardians come to visit tomorrow" Alexis says

"I didn't hear anything about this, Immanuel never mentioned anything in his office" I say

Was I ready to see my mother again?

"Immanuel had you in his office? What's his problem?"

"He thought I was skipping classes, which I was but he didn't need to know that" we laughed

"Maybe your mom's gonna be here tomorrow, are you ready for that?" Alexis asks with a worried face, I sighed

"No point in hiding In my room, I'll have to confront her one day, I guess it's tomorrow" I lay my head on the dashboard and close my eyes

"Are your dad's coming?" I ask

"Two gay men walking the halls of this place? Duhh" she laughs sipping the bottle

"Oh, my phone's fully charged"

"Wanna mess with Immanuel's social accounts?" Alexis smirked

We scooched closer and searched the media for Immanuel's profiles, we found his facebook.

Ah yes, facebook, ran by boomers who post their grandkids and politics

"What could his password be" I furrowed my brows

Alexis took the phone and quickly typed in a few suggestions.
'Immanuel'....Wrong...

'God is good' ....Wrong...

'Ezekiel'....Correct...

Success

"Oh my god" she tried to contain her laughter

"you've got to be kidding me" I laugh

I've never seen such a stereotypical account.

My jaw dropped at the photo before me, Alexis managed the photoshop Immanuel's face onto a female's body who's hands were wrapped around muscular men with huge dic-

"And.... Posted" she smirked

"That's fucked up" I laugh

"life's fucked up" she raised the bottle in the air before chugging it down

"That's enough internet for the day" I say

"It's ten" I sigh "Should probably get some rest for tomorrow"

"Wake me when the world can accept changes" Alexis says before instantly passing out

I smile before pulling the covers over us and falling asleep myself

Tomorrow is definitely gonna be a hassle
