Meant to Be

Biana excitedly added one last touch to her makeup. She was finally going to confess her feelings to Tam. She had sent him an anonymous note, asking him to meet her at a cafe in Atlantis.

After leaping to the meeting spot, Biana eagerly looked around. It was a quaint little restaurant, with small tables with umbrellas and pretty fairy lights strung overhead. It was the perfect spot. She just hoped he would show up.

A few minutes later, a familiar figure came into view. Biana smiled. Then, the nervousness hit her.

What am I gonna say if he doesn't like me back? What do I say if he does!?

Before she could answer any of those questions, Tam's silver eyes met hers.

"Biana," Tam asked, confused. "You sent the note?" Biana giggled nervously.

"Um, yeah. I did," she responded. "I have something to tell you." Tam looked about as nervous as Biana felt. But, that didn't stop him from pulling out the chair across from her and sitting down. He nodded at her to continue. Biana bit her lip. It was now or never.

"I wanted to tell you that I like you, Tam," she blurted. Tam turned bright red. After several agonizing seconds, he responded.

"I-you-me," Tam stuttered. "Um, what? Did I hear you correctly?" Biana looked down and nodded. But her head snapped back up when she heard an adorable little squeak.

"Yes!!!" Tam had a huge, silly grin on his normally sour-looking face. "I, um, I like you too." Biana's eyes widened in disbelief. Tam tugged his bangs.

"Um, Biana?" He asked, his face somehow turning even redder.

"Yeah?" Biana managed to say. She could barely hear him over her pounding heart.

"C-can I kiss you?" Tam whispered. Biana almost shrieked. Was she imaging this? Just in case she wasn't, she nodded her head.

Tam slowly leaned forward, tilting his head to the side. Biana did the same, closing her eyes and having a mental breakdown. This was really happening!!!!

Their lips drew nearer and nearer until....

"Hi guys! Fancy seeing you here!" Biana shrieked and Tam may or may not have as well. Standing in front of their table was a grinning Sophie.

"One word: revenge," she said. "Okay. You guys can continue now." And with that, Sophie walked off, leaving a very embarrassed Biana and Tam.
