Cara's P.O.V.

I woke up with a pounding headache. It was as though my head was like a door and someone was knocking on it nonstop. My head was laying on someone's shoulder. Strands of her blonde hair covered parts of her face. Hannah? I slowly got up and when I saw Amanda passed out next to me I couldn't help but scream or tried to scream. It came out like a low guttural cry. I immediately placed my hand over my mouth.

With a groan, Amanda turned on her side.

Don't freak out, it's just another nightmare. I glanced to my right and saw Zara and Jane asleep next to each other. There was a space between Zara and me. Wait, why was Jane here?

Okay, I'm just going to close my eyes and everything will be normal again. This is just a nightmare. You're going to wake up soon Cara. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

"I made mimosas!" Kelsey's voice rang out.

My eyes popped open and all I could do was scream again. I quickly climbed out of the bed.

"Ugh, shut up!" Amanda groaned.

"Where am I!" I was standing at the foot of the bed, trying to take in my surroundings. It was a large studio apartment. The walls were plain white but filled with a lot of gaudy artwork. A large portrait of Kelsey hung over the bed. Clothes were spewed across the hardwood floor, making me want to faint. My heart was racing as all I can think about was what happened last night.

"You're in my apartment," Kelsey answered like it was the simplest question ever. In her hands was a tray of mimosas. 'Want one?"

"No!" I pointed toward the bed. "Why is everyone there?"

"It was the best sleepover ever," Kelsey responded with a grin.

"I need a shower. I need new clothes," I rambled. "I need to get out of here!" I couldn't help but look at the bed like it was some kind of evil monster filled with germs from who knows what.

Amanda, noticing that I was out of the bed, casually rolled beside Zara who was slowly waking.

"Hey," Amanda said with a grin.

"Hi," Zara replied as she rubbed her tired eyes.

"Calm down girl," Kelsey said as she placed the tray of mimosas on her nightstand. "You can take a shower here."

"No, that is wrong. This is wrong! Someone tell me what happened!" I was losing my breath and my mind. I tried to pice back what I remembered from last night. We were in a booth. Kelsey poured everyone a glass of margaritas. I took a sip and I didn't like it. I remember watching Zara and Amanda talking about what was going on in their lives. I was debating whether I should help Amanda get with Zara. The positive was that if Amanda was in a relationship then she wouldn't be coming over to my apartment as much. She might even move back to L.A. The negative part was that Zara was my friend. She was my friend right? Like how do you know if you're friends with someone? Anyways I don't think Amanda was a good fit for her. Afterward, I took multiple sips of the drink Mei gave me. I shouldn't have but I felt awkward and that gave me something to do because I didn't know how to reply to Kelsey's strange stories. Then I sent an angry text to Luna and after that, I couldn't remember anything.

"Cara, are you okay?" Zara's voice broke me from my thoughts.

"What happened?  I didn't even drink that much." Zara was next to me, eyes filled with worry.

Amanda was standing beside Zara while Jane was slowly getting up from the bed.

"You started rambling a lot about how your relationship with your sister will never be the same and then you started talking about your parents seeing you differently, so I gave you a xany," Kelsey answered.
