WINTER CABIN

an original poem by:
SUJINNIIE

Walking by the snowy road
Passing by shoppers full of loads
Snowflakes falling silently
Reaching the ground as I sighed silently

My smile turned cold
No stories unfold
All I could think was darkness

Not until the snow rises

As winter turns bitter
I longed for a little bit of joy
And I started to treat myself like a toy
Looking for anything that would make me smile, just a bit.

I passed by this cabin
Opening the doors with curtains in satin
'Open this door for happiness' it said
And that cabin was you

Walking by the snowy road
Passing by the snow melting to toe
Trees growing silently
Spring sprouted when you smiled
So I smiled.
