"You know him." I state.

"Unfortunately." He sighs. "How do you know him?"

"I don't. All I know is that he wanted to kidnap me to inherit your fortunes or something." I say.

"How did you know this?" He asks.

"A friend told me." I say.

"Who?" He asks.

"It's a long story." I sigh. "I'll explain when we meet."

"For the time being, stay away from trouble, please. I can't lose another one do you. I-" I stopped him from finishing his sentence.

"No, dad. You won't. Mom will be fine. I will be fine and Kyle will be fine. So, will you." I say.

"I really do hope you're right, my little little lili." He says.

"I'm not so little anymore dad." I chuckle.

I could only wish I still am.

"I have another call coming through. It's from the hospital. I'll talk to you later." He says.

"Okay. Bye, dad. I love you." I say.

"I love you more, Liliana." He says and hangs up.

I pulled my phone away from my ear and sat on my bed.

2 weeks later

"Dad!" I exclaim, excitedly running to him a little before hugging him.

"Lili! My baby." He smiles, hugging me back.

"Kyle." He says as Kyle joins in on the hug.

"I missed you guys." Dad says, sadly.

"How are you and mom?" Kyle asks as we pull away.

"I'll be fine and your mother woke up yesterday. I had been too busy to call you." He says, happily.

"Can we see her?" I ask and he nods.

We left our suitcases and ran upstairs before realising we have no idea where our mom is.

"She is in the room next to ours." Dad says and we continue running.

We stopped right in front of her door.

"Okay, remember. She is probably weaker so don't wear her out." Kyle says.

"I'm pretty sure my mere presence will make her happier than you will." I smirk.

He gasps dramatically.

"That is not true!" He exclaims. "My mommy loves me the most."

"Lies are all I am hearing." I say smugly and walk into the room.

"My babies." My mom exclaimed looking at us with tears forming in her eyes.

"Mommy." I say, running to hug her.
